Yes, it should work fine on ARM machines for standalone purchases too.

If your screen goes black it sounds like your video drivers or the DWM is crashing out.
Hi SD devs, Had some issues with the taskbar replacement in Start11 for a few months; couldn't pin down a specific cause, so I've reverted to the Windows default for now. Pinned packaged apps will not launch from the Start11 taskbar. Left-clicking a pin that activates via AppUserModelID, such as Notepad, Outlook (new), or Claude Desktop, opens a file manager window at This PC instead of launching the
I'm still experiencing DeskScapes 2026 not surviving an Explorer restart. However, once I right-click the desktop and select "Show more options..." DeskScapes starts. My system is Windows 11 Pro - 26200.8973; and DeskScapes 26.0.1.1
Are you sure the service is starting up as that would typically be the reason.
Can you try uninstalling, REBOOTING and then reinstalling as it may be the files were not correctly replaced. The reboot in between is critical. If it continues after that we would like to know what your monitor setup is (positions of monitors, count of them), and what build of Windows 11.
Are you able to try the 4.2 beta release as that had a number of changes including a tailscale linked issue.
It attempts to make it high contrast if the image is monochrome.
Are you sure you 100% sure you are using 2.74 as thats behaviour from earlier versions of Start11 which was changed a long time ago. You must have enhanced taskbar enabled as the config UI is showing the options to hide buttons which isn't offered without enhanced taskbar.
Do you use anything like TailScale (so VPN like)? What does it say on the message about the connection failure, does it list an IP address it tried? If so is that right? This would typically mean a firewall issue on the primary end.
How sure are you that it is trying to pull in wbload2.dll? wbload.dll would be normal but not wbload2.dll which would only be used by web browsers. It is not possible for us to run an app exclusion before load as thats purely OS level and OS limitations prevent an entirely clean unhook until sign out. EAC just needs to white list wbload.dll (or wbload2.dll apparently in this case?) These files are Stardock signed. Anything installing hooks is liable to hit
The first config page (General) in Groupy has a setting "Show a groupy bar when the mouse hovers over the top of a titlebar for ungrouped windows" Is that what you are looking for?
You can adjust it like any other app in the mixer in Windows on the receiver too. All MP audio will come from the Multiplicity process.
This is an area we are looking into. The trick is it has to be a viable usable solution.
For now leave the OS as taskbar at the bottom and left Start11 decide on locations.
Also see if it vanishes if you mouseover a taskbar button and show the thumbnail preview.
If you mouseover the real taskbar to show the popups, does this second taskbar go away?
If you mouseover the real taskbar to show the popups, does this second taskbar go away?
We will investigate this as it isn't intentional behaviour.
When you say the app receiving crashes, do you mean say MSWord or Notepad crash themselves when being pasted into?
You need to update to 2.74 for the Taskbar Pins page to work correctly for this due to a small OS change causing issues.
Are you using enhanced taskbar or positioning the taskbar anywhere but the bottom?
Downloads are hosted on much faster sites than before for most of the apps (cachefly.net) so they should be basically near instant. I would certainly suspect a problem with the route between your ISP and the servers in this case. If you use the download links on store.stardock.com, does it download quicker?
Can you post a screenshot?
still the same problem, as shown below...
If this is with Enhanced taskbar disabled, then it shouldn't be anything to do with Start11.
