I think there is some confusion here. I think by search window you mean Start menu?
Neil, As mentioned privately - when the secondary monitors are disconnected, top taskbar works as intended. When the taskbar is configured to use the left or right side there is a bit of odd 'bouncing' as the right click menus appear, and sometimes it takes doing it a second time but they do work even with the secondary monitors enabled. Put the taskbar back at the top with multiple monitors and it doesn
What other software do you run in the computer? Especially anything that adds extra bars or alters how windows maximize. Is this new in 2.5.1.3 or were you not using a vertical taskbar before? We have a beta 2.5.2 which may help too.
It is now a release version so anyone on 11.02 should get update prompts in the next week.
I finally got Bitdefender to allow me to run the purge batch. Ran it. Rebooted. Reinstalled Start 11.2. Tread carefully with that as it may cause compatibility issues depending on what mod you enable. Please also make sure to let us know if you are using it when reporting any bugs.
So in three threads, multiple days - multiple posts no one from Stardock has responded reference my issue. Beta 2.52 still doesn't fix the issue, and a version prior to 2.5 that worked isn't available for download. I will uninstall Start11 this weekend and test out Windhawk. I am fed up with Stardock's failure to respond and failure to provide the tools we need to use the software properly (IE older downloads) and so if Windha
This is due to a change in Windows 11 in the preview patch you are using.

However - direct shortcuts to program (eg:Norton 360) would work fine. Is this similar to what was happening with you? All I could figure out to do was to remove the Windows Update and reboot - then everything worked again. Please let me kn
After I installed the 24H2 KB5050094 update on my computer - when I clicked on the folders on my desktop - they would no longer open. Neither did shortcuts to my drives or to "My Computer". Direct shortcuts - or files (photos/videos/music etc) that were on the desktop and were NOT in a folder still worked for some reason. Something seems to be interfering with Windows Explorer as far as I can see. I tried sh
Are you using pre release windows updates by any chance?
This does not appear to be related to Start11 as parts not controlled by Start11 seem to have bigger text like the right click menu and the explorer navbar. Are you sure you have not set Windows to enlarge text?
Also, not sure if anyone has reported this in the past, but the taskbars on the secondary monitors will often just not respond to anything until you interact with the primary monitor's task bar. Happens to me multiple times a day. I have the following set: Windows task bar settings: "When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on" set to "All taskbars" "Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels"
Do you have Start11 set to hide the start button on one screen?
So after some more digging, it seems to be Windows adding this semi-transparent box. It's visible when you make a new folder. The reason it is less so is because of the color of the built-in folders in Windows. As I use a dark background and blue folder it is just painstakingly obvious. I guess this is where the program shows its age or it is just something not even the great Stardock can work around? [e digicons];)[/e]
</
As long as it is no longer in use on the other computer you should be ok Ideally you would uninstall and deactivate on the first machine first but if not then it will prompt to automatically deactivate the other machine when you activate the new install.

As it currently is, changing the light mode also set the dark mode or flipped the other way changing the dark mode colors changes the light mode colors. Thank you for this report. We have reproduced the issue and the next update should have a fix for this.
I assume you have not disabled transparency effects in the OS?
Sorry to take so long to get back to you. When I run the purge batch, my Bitdefender intercepts it, as if it's infected with a virus.
Hi, thanks for your reply. I generally don't use the MicroPlayer in MediaMonkey, and have the program set to minimize to taskbar (instead of the MicroPlayer). However, I've found I can workaround the lag issue, if I enable "Always show tray icon" and "Close to tray" in MM settings. This just seems to let me bypass the taskbar for MediaMonkey. I'll leave it there for now, until I have time for more troubleshooting, or a
