Windows does not let you pin folders to the taskbar. You can only pin applications. If you use Start11 you can pin a folder to the taskbar using the Start11 configuration screen though.
Taking advantage of the friend's topic. Hello, after a recent update, the taskbar has a problem with misalignment of the icon information on the taskbar. Some work, others don't.
This really needs to be in its own thread as two very different issues.
My general advice here is it is best not mess with critical Windows services as doing so can break things. Have you recently disabled any services? Also is the Start11_64 process running in taskmanager?
This is entirely normal. On Windows 10 menus the smallest icon size does not show text because it is sized small enough for the icon only. This is how it works on Windows 10 too.
I have 2.51 installed, but this does not fix the issue.
Uninstall, reboot and then reinstall as I suspect some files were not replaced correctly.
That list is provided by the OS so we have no control over it. But that looks like a tooltip rather than a clickable list suggesting the list itself has never appeared. First step would be to uninstall Start11, reboot and then install the 2.52 beta of Start11 that's available now. That rules out any install issues.
Does your computer have a touch display?
Do you have Stardock WindowBlinds? If so, it is that which needs an update to 11.04 due to a preview patch your computer installed.
I already have version 2.51 (not beta) installed and it's asking me to download again, days later.
Is that on automatic updates or a manual check for updates?
Yes... as stated in my first comment. Its applying per-TAB, not per groupy window. That way, you could have one tabbed application altered, and another remain the same. Applying filters to every window is easily done in windows.
It is a very different thing to apply something globally than it is to apply it to a single window. Unfortunately this is massively out of scope for Groupy.
I am curious as to why you using such an old version of WindowBlinds? If you update to 11.04 this will be resolved as it was caused by the most recent pre release patch Microsoft released for 23h2 and 24h2.
It is potentially possible. We will setup a similar configuration and run some tests next week.
I just loaded the new version with the vertical taskbar and so happy this is finally happening. One issue/question please? With the horizontal bar I can set the divider between the task bar and the screen high enough to have several rows of icons. With the vertical bar, no matter how far I shift the divider over, there only seems to be one icon per horizontal space, and then a slider bar appears t
Done. Would it help if I sent a screenshot of installed programs and features from Control Panel?
That appears to be a screenshot of the Windows 10 taskbar so the most likely explanation is you have a tool called ExplorerPatcher install
Do you have any software which might add bars or docks to the screen or alter the taskbar? Also how many monitors do you have?
Are you using Start11 auto hide or the OS option for that?
Adding to this thread, as people mentioned above, the taskbar on 2nd monitor is not responding from time to time. When you first click something on the main monitor , and then click on 2nd monitor any program on the taskbar, it will not respond on the first click. Some times multiple click still not responding. It seems like it's not even clicking on it. Running Windows 11 , 24H2&n

I think there is some confusion here. I think by search window you mean Start menu?
Neil, As mentioned privately - when the secondary monitors are disconnected, top taskbar works as intended. When the taskbar is configured to use the left or right side there is a bit of odd 'bouncing' as the right click menus appear, and sometimes it takes doing it a second time but they do work even with the secondary monitors enabled. Put the taskbar back at the top with multiple monitors and it doesn
What other software do you run in the computer? Especially anything that adds extra bars or alters how windows maximize. Is this new in 2.5.1.3 or were you not using a vertical taskbar before? We have a beta 2.5.2 which may help too.
It is now a release version so anyone on 11.02 should get update prompts in the next week.

Tread carefully with that as it may cause compatibility issues depending on what mod you enable. Please also make sure to let us know if you are using it when reporting any bugs.
