Heh, the teacher who taught me Quark used to point out all the things that Quark could do that InDesign couldn't. And the other way around too, but no doubt that she liked Quark better. At work, we're doing a 1600 page thick book once a year for a large company. At first we used Quark, but changed to InDesign which has reduced the amount of time we spend on it. Mainly because of silly things like adding shadows under pictures that Quark really

You can get themes for some of the Sony Ericsson phones. I have the Aluminium Alloy theme on my T630 I believe there is a section over at DA for that.
The Killers - On Top - but actually the entire Hot Fuss album too. The more I listen to it, the more I like it.
If you ask me, Adobe already killed quark, it's just a matter of time till the rest of the businesses finally admit it and adopt it. Never! I'm still addicted to Quark... Although InDesign is gaining market rapidly. Especially advertising agencies seem to like it. I do like to do layouts in InDesign bec
Seems like Adobe is to acquire Macromedia. I could imagine Flash being one of the main reasons. What this means imo, is less competition on professional graphics software, and possibly the death or a merging of existing Macromedia products. What's next? Will Adobe acquire QuarkXPress too, and kill all competition?
They're showing "Lost" over here, and that's about everything I see on TV - until they finally air the next season "24".
The titlebar buttons on 6070b and 6070 are tga's with an alpha blended shadow, so my best bet would be that you need either WB 4.5 or WB 4.5 AND Windows XP to have it shown properly.
Note that ObjectDock and DesktopX can use PNG images for icons, but Windows and IconPackager can only use ICO files. It's a specific format for it's purpose.
Great list of things to remember Adam, that's a keeper. Can't believe I didn't update that menu BG color in one of the updates I did on w0rse, thanks for pointing it out That means yet an update on it
There are already a bunch of font sites out there. Besides, you just don't make a font and share it 5 minutes after. You have to design it, add every character (yes, also those weird ones in other languages), set the kerning, test it, correct errors, test it again etc. I haven't had the time to make a font yet, but I have considered it.

WinXP SP2 and MacOSX 10.3.8. Gonna sell my old G4 and get myself a Mac Mini instead
The author just hasn't edited the images for vertical taskbars, nothing wrong on your end
You could do it by simply dragging a shortcut or application to your dock.
The problem people are experiencing with TGA's came along with Photoshop CS (8). In PS7 TGA's and PNG's would behave the same way in PS, meaning they'd both have transparent backgrounds and the transparent and semitransparent pixels would show up in SkS as that. But Adobe wanted that to change of some reason and the way you work with TGA's in CS is a little different now. TGA's in PS CS don't behave like PNG's, they can't have transparent backgrounds l
Thanks but what about the skin you are working on? Not skin but skins They're on their way, now that I have time for it.<B
For the last 2 weeks I and 15 fellow students have been stressed about our final projects at school. We've been 4 years on our way and can now call us Graphic Designers. The projects consists of 4 jobs, The first 2 are obligatory - 1 website and 1 for print (3 spreads) that has to match 100% on a print we got delivered, 2 pictures had to be scanned and color corrected, text had to be set up correctly after standards etc. Then there were the free jobs,
I think you'd have to edit one of the classic colors in the skin in SkinStudio. Probably Background - Window, since that's most likely to change that color. I don't think the skins are at fault here, although you can fix it by editing the skin. The thing is that not all websites has a bg color defined in html, so the browser will just use the window background instead. At least, that's my guess.
Hehe, there's a discussion you can't enter without getting silly comments, gotta love the internet There's not much you can do about it but shrug, it will always be like that, and not just on this subject but many more. Imo, it has something to do with what social group you want to be a part of, and then fight for it, trying to convince others that this is the on

Any pizza - just as long there's cheese and chili on it! It's not pizza without the cheese and it needs some of the hot stuff to get me to devour it.
It looks photorealistic. I oughtta look into CorelDraw and see how it differs from AI.
It was Paul aka Judge who did this first with his OSXP logon theme https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=178&LibID=26 Here's a little more info http://webpages.charter.net/joolsie/LogonScreens.htm And check out comment #4 here: https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3146&LibID=26&comments=1 To change the font and color you need to edit UIFILE.txt certain places. You can't edit it in LogonStu
I think he means that he got a .zip instead of a .logonxp. He extracted that and saw all the files that makes the logon, and don't know what to do with them. Tell him it's XP SP2 that does that, and he needs to rename the .zip to .logonxp and of course have LogonStudio installed Then everything should be fine.
I have a Wacom Graphire 2. I use it instead of my mouse (that's for gaming). It's not that different from a mouse, except I find it a lot faster, and more precise than a mouse. In fact, when I use a mouse nowadays, I feel kind of handicapped since I've grown so attached to my Wacom board. I don't think it necessarily can improve your skinning, but I think it's a lot better to work with than a mouse. It's just another form of mouse, another tool to use
