The black color can't be exactly 0,0,0 (RGB). Lighten it a bit, ie. to 6,6,6 or similar. In Photoshop you can quickly do this in Selective Color (Image, Adjustments), select black and take some color out or hit ctrl+m and pull the curves a bit.
Using Maxthon here, does not work fine. It locks up after closing a search. Also the download animation is broken somehow, the regular Windows download animation shows instead.

First you define a font you'd like to use with a proper size. You do that under Miscellaneous -> Presets -> Font Presets. Then you apply it under Taskbar -> Taskbar button -> Attribute (in the right tree).
And a unit converter widget. From miles to kilometers, inches to centimeters, centegrade to fahrenheit, feet to meters etc. for anything that's worth converting. I'm thinking 2 input fields and a go button, depending on the input field, the result shows in the other.
Photoshop, Illustrator and GoLive CS. Some manual editing involved in the code, but that's also done in GoLive.

Did you upgrade from the free version to the enhanced, without uninstalling the free version first? Try and uninstall, clean the registry, restart and install it again.

Since you're not using the classic start menu, everything is just fine. Icons do get applied to the regular start menu, just not the classic. In Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, you can choose to use the classic start menu. This is what the message is referring to.
No worries. If you use the classic start menu in XP IP can't apply the icons. Like the message says, it's due to limitations of the OS - not IP. So if you don't all is fine
I think if more coders and graphic artists join forces on making widgets, like the case is with modern Winamp skins, DX would appeal more to a broader audience. I wouldn't mind joining forces with someone to create awesome widgets

You could set the transparency of your layer to 100% but the fill to ie. 10%, then apply a drop shadow. The result will be a shadow around the edges, not through the object.
It's called Kryptonite, it's a subscriber goodie you can get by clicking Subscriber Resources.
You can also hold ctrl and hit tab to browse through the tabs. I really like the drag n drop you can do on links. If you click and hold a link and drag it a little to either side and release it, the link will open in a new tab. You could also hold shift down and click a link, same result.

I got it and deleted your mail before replying, so I'll just do that here. I think what's wrong are your images proportions. Each image have to be a specific size. I suggest you see what the sizes are in an already existing skin and work from that. You can also see which images are supposed to be what part of the skin.
