What happens when you run ThemeManager and click add? And have you downloaded it and chose save as .suite instead of .zip? Or perhaps put the file in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\ThemeManager\Themes (.suite)

To edit the fonts that the skin use, go to Miscellaneous -> Presets -> Font Presets create a new or modify an existing one. To change the font on the tabs go to Controls -> Tab Set -> Tab Items -> "Right tree in SkinStudio" Fonts and use the one you created/modified. WB can't change the font in the Start Menu, so you have to do that through Appearance -> Advanced -> (If WindowBlinds installed Other advanced controls) And change the fo

Can you right-click your desktop at all (does a menu pop up?) Or is it when you click properties that you can't enter the display properties, ie. all fields are blank? DesktopX doesn't replace right-click, works fine for me.

You don't. If you want a full version, you have to pay. It's part of ObjectDesktop (a suite of various customization applications), worth the price of $50. Including all updates the following year. Take a look at https://www.stardock.com for more info.

I can only say it does the same for me in Windows. It works fine in MacOSX, and it works in Outlook Express. That might not help you much though.

If you don't want to mess up your computer, you should get rid of StyleXP... Go with WindowBlinds in stead. [Insert another biased opinion here]. You can't use any of the skins on this site with StyleXP. Shell Styles are the images used in the task pane and in the lower right corner in specific folders that contain images, videos, music. UIS1 is one WindowBlinds skin format, UIS2 is another with more features.

You couldn't do that in PS7 either. The transparency in a tga file is defined in the alpha channel of the image. The white part being the visible and the black the transparent. Click the Channels tab (next to layers) and make an alpha channel. Make a &#115election of your layers and fill it with white and it will work

Outer bevel, down 90 degrees, dark inner glow. Adjust the settings to your liking. The highlight can be achieved by making a new layer, make a shape &#115election for the highlight and make a gradient fill that goes from 75% white to 0% white.
