I've used Flash, Photoshop and 3ds max for the animations in my skins, all work perfectly with GIF MovieGear, simply because it can import numbered bmp's and avi's per frame. All you gotta do afterwards is compress it with RLE 8 bit and your animation is ready. The great thing about using Flash, is that you can import png's (or other images) and animate them smoothly.

I don't think WindowFX can make everything transparent except the text, it makes an entire window transparent including the text. You can change system fonts by right-clicking your desktop, &#115elect the Appearance tab, click Advanced (and in case you have WindowBlinds installed - click Other advanced controls in the next dialog box). Then you &#115elect an item from the drop-down menu and change it to another font/size.

*.zit is another compressed file format, created by Stuffit. It used to be the default compression app for Mac, but now that OSX has build-in zip compression it's slowly fading in popularity - though still used. You can get it here for Windows as well: http://www.stuffit.com/win/index.html I don't know if ID will do it, but I know for sure that Axialis IconWorkshop can do it - but it costs http://ax

Unfortunately I do believe just that, because I've never had any problems with WB or any other app from Stardock. The only app that's caused problems for me is QuarkXPress Passport, but that's not Stardocks fault - it's Quarks. Quark only seem to like UIS1 skins and not UIS2, so I have to use those instead. Some apps are coded so they don't like getting skinned and Quark is one of them. I've only tried Flash MX and no problems there - wouldn't know about FireWorks or DreamWeaver. Adobe

I think it would be nice with screensavers, although I'm worried about virus and the quality. I don't expect stuff like this coming: http://www.serenescreen.com/product/time/index.php Although it would be awesome.
