I've used Flash, Photoshop and 3ds max for the animations in my skins, all work perfectly with GIF MovieGear, simply because it can import numbered bmp's and avi's per frame. All you gotta do afterwards is compress it with RLE 8 bit and your animation is ready. The great thing about using Flash, is that you can import png's (or other images) and animate them smoothly.

A beer I came across recently has won my heart. Newcastle Brown Ale, what a brew.
Sysmetrix isn't part of ObjectDesktop. It's a freeware system monitoring app developed by Xymantix. You can get it here: http://www.xymantix.com/sysmetrix/download.html
I don't think WindowFX can make everything transparent except the text, it makes an entire window transparent including the text. You can change system fonts by right-clicking your desktop, select the Appearance tab, click Advanced (and in case you have WindowBlinds installed - click Other advanced controls in the next dialog box). Then you select an item from the drop-down menu and change it to another font/size.
PowerToys for XP will do that. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx Or DekstopX.
Oopsiedaisy, that should read *.sit. Zits are something completely different.
*.zit is another compressed file format, created by Stuffit. It used to be the default compression app for Mac, but now that OSX has build-in zip compression it's slowly fading in popularity - though still used. You can get it here for Windows as well: http://www.stuffit.com/win/index.html I don't know if ID will do it, but I know for sure that Axialis IconWorkshop can do it - but it costs http://ax
Get ObjectDock Plus
By adjusting the left content margin for the arrow bg image. Set it to approx. -73 to -80, test it and see which number works.
Take a look at existing skins that does it, like DogmaX, Venus, Vector, Ascension. The trick is to adjust the background arrow image and set the content margins correct.
Right click desktop and click properties, select appearance tab and click effects and check use large/big icon. Otherwise check your settings for the start menu, here you can choose to have large and small icons as well.
Aren't OCX files ActiveX?
Try and contact Paul aka Judge. He did the original script for that type og logon, and he might know how to trigger it - if possible.
You need one of these babies for DX: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=label&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=3
Xymantix have made some: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?authorid=1708
Unfortunately I do believe just that, because I've never had any problems with WB or any other app from Stardock. The only app that's caused problems for me is QuarkXPress Passport, but that's not Stardocks fault - it's Quarks. Quark only seem to like UIS1 skins and not UIS2, so I have to use those instead. Some apps are coded so they don't like getting skinned and Quark is one of them. I've only tried Flash MX and no problems there - wouldn't know about FireWorks or DreamWeaver. Adobe
I don't have that issue at home with Maxthon, only prob is dl animations are disabled and that's Maxthons fault. No bug problems with Stardock software at all
I think it would be nice with screensavers, although I'm worried about virus and the quality. I don't expect stuff like this coming: http://www.serenescreen.com/product/time/index.php Although it would be awesome.
I've done all the toolbar icons in my 3 WBs so far, and will continue to do that. The more that's skinned the more complete the skin is.
Did you happen to update to SP2 while you were at it?
You need the right software to run the skins you find available on this site. In each skin category you'll find a link in the top to the application including a description.
What application are you downloading skins for?
Hit win+r and type services.msc, go to themes and disable it.
Yup April fools. If you wanna skin your mac, then go to http://www.unsanity.com and get ShapeShifter and all the other goodies available.
