If a skin starts to do wierd things, rename it and start from there. I really could use that tip now. But how do you exactly do that? Just click save as in SS and name it different or edit the files in the skin folder manually? I know ZoneAlarm is set to block ads and pop-ups and -unders. Maxthon also does this. Actually gamespy looks worse in IE than Maxthon, the bar in the top doesn't even load in IE. IE is set up to block 3rd part cookies, I tried to disable it, but the problems were still there. It's also set to run everything or ask if something should be run. It's just rescent it started doing this, I went to doom3.com about a week ago and there was no problem. Well it would be nice to figure it out, but

I uninstalled Flash and deleted the keys in the registry. After some Googling I deleted the 2 ActiveX controls in System32\Macromedia\Flash: flash.ocx and swflash.ocx I think they were called. I've encountered a strange problem, I bet it's some weird setting somewhere - the problem is I just don't know where to look. There are some sites I can't view at all and some that doesn't load properly. To name a few, I can't load doom3.com, roadrun.com, adobe.com, macromedia.com and gamespy.com doesn't load properly, see the screenshot. I think I know what your problem is, but I don't have a solution. The 2 icons on the right, right next to the system tray are running applications, and there's a large blue middle part between those and the quick launch icons. I don't know how you managed to get it that way. It's something I've never seen before. Try and unlock the taskbar and see if you can move everything around and lock it again.

Winamp set it off. The idea of the users ability to change the way it looked got me hooked (wow that rimed). I looked deeper into it and found Stardocks apps. Just awesome. Now I can change it all and make some after my own taste.

For anyone interested: I took Xero's logon: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=26&SkinID=1477 and overwrote the graphics with my own and edited the Theme.ini file manually to change author name etc. I did a preview of it in Photoshop, that way the preview didn't screw up in LogonStudio. I would also like to know if a setup like this was possible with an older version of LogonStudio or it has to be altered manually? And in that case, who did it first? I read through the codes

There's no beta of Longhorn out yet. It's been delayed until 2005, because of XP SP2. There have only been released alpha versions. The first was the PDC release and the second was at WinHEC build 4074. I've read there have only been 8 builds since that release because of the work being made on SP2. So you're gonna have to wait.

I don't think it's that easy to answer. You gotta look more into specs, available games, features etc. The X-Box has the best graphics, then Gamecube and then Playstation. You can play games online with the X-Box, I only think 1 game is playable online on Gamecube. I have a Gamecube myself, and I'm quite pleased with it. I don't play games online at all, so it serves my needs.
