Gengis Khan: As soon as you have transporters and star fighters on a tiny or small map, wax at least 3 races before they ever break 3 billion in pop. Should try to kill one before they break 1 billion. Dine on the ashes. Should be able to kill the others in short order as well. Iron Clad: Control all military resources, build all starship improvements, build one Excalibur from said planet, name it Omega (the end), own all :HOT:. You will feel like an Iron Clad ship going up

Thanks for the interest Theoden :). Ive been using the pop growth pick for quite a few games now actually and it seems to be working awesome. Its important to use it in conjuction with morale or PQ picks. Being evil helps too due to taking the +PQ colonization events. This is becuase pop growth means little if you cant keep your morale at 100. You can do it when your a good guy too but morale resources become the golden fruit. Started my first ever gigantic map this weekend. The thing is freakn huge and my comp is ca-chunking along with it >:( . Seems like I just upgraded the paper weight too. Oh well. Excaliburs are strong but, you have to have military resources and starship quality improvements to get the full use out of them. Any ship can take out higher ones if it has the benefit mil resources etc and the other guy doesnt.

I think that trading for frieghters is good on a situational basis. It definitely has more value on the really large maps. Otherwise, it will take 6 years to get your trade started and your eco will be severely stunted. Baring that though, I think its too expensive. They simply want to many techs for 1 freighter. I dont have high diplomacy picks so that could have something to do with it. I dont use diplomacy that much. I try to dominate socially and then militarily. Im usually the econo

Unfortunately, this score means jack. The metaverse score thats listed under that is what will be submitted to the metaverse. This number is typically a lot less than the game score.
