Finally got my current game completed for 79 K. It was a real struggle. The Thalians had more planets than me and kept hitting me with scores of ships. Nearly abandoned the game, but I managed to hang on long enough to research Psyonic missile and from then on, things slowly turned around. Eventually, I discovered they not only had more planets, they had four times as many. I am setting up the game that is being used in the team play competition. Never tried for a t

If the fundamentalist wackos start to seriously take power in the U.S., I'm planning on packing up the family and leaving for Australia. (Canada's nice, but it's too close.) How hard is it to emigrate there? 'Cause heck, I'd take a job maintaining the Dingo Fence if things got bad enough here. If you are young, got loads of money and a good education, then it is easy. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 align="absmid

I notice no losses showing on the records for this fine empire. That is perhaps intimidating to newer players such as myself. Is this an advanced empire only, in terms of both age AND skill? Captain Mal. If you put your mouse pointer over the pretty coloured clock after the medals, you will see that most of us are at the lower levels of difficulty. Some at cakewalk. Like gostwes, I have never posted my losses. If you do, it brings down

2. Crippling a planet you are getting ready to invade. I have noticed that if you have a spy on a planet that you invade, you lose that spy. So I remove any spies before invading.

Welcome GWS. Hopefully, the Boss will put his glasses on, see this and send you an invite. He will eventually. It takes him a while to get to the computer. I hope the unpleasant real life stretch soon passes and you can get back to the important things. BTW.I seem to remember thatI have voted.

Prayer means faith in God and He can indeed be swayed by His Love towards us. You are joking, right ? If there is a God, then He, She or It, is obviously a sadist. She has set the Universe up, so that our sun will engulf the Earth. I assume that all the planets around other suns will go the same way. Exterminating all life in the Universe. Then, I assume it will start all over again. We also seem to be designed to create a 'peop

Watch out Makara! I may have to post eight games to your one just to match your scores but I can DO it! Go for it, Elwhopo. I only play for a short time each day and sometimes I miss a day or two, so it takes me at least a month to complete a gigantic game.

I have the latest 1.6 update and this current game has bonus tiles. About the same as in earlier versions. The so called trade goods are still totally worthless as trades. No one is interested in them.

I am from Perth, in Western Australia. The same time zone as Singapore. We were stationed at Tengah military air base in Singapore at one time. We train Singapore pilots...and Chinese pilots at Perth.

Good luck Quixen, with the job. I might be leaving the HCH to join the Gerontocracy...if I can remember where it was. I am sure you will manage without me.

Thanks. I meant Grand Kids not kids. They think Gran is cool and can talk to me about anything. I find that very touching...and revealing.

Here is a variation of the three Nuns one. Two Nuns and a Mother superior were at the Pearly gates. Saint Peter says. " I have to ask you the obligatory question to get it, but I will make it easy." He asks the first Nun. " What were the names of the first two people in the World?" " That's easy. Adam and Eve. " " Correct. In you go ." He asks the second Nun. " Where did they live ? " " That is an easy one. The Garden of Eden ." " Correct. In you go ." <b

As a general rule, first ones are usually late, second ones early. Unless of course the medical fraternity intervene for their own convenience. Savour the experience. First babies only happen once.
