In the Change Log from 11/13/2023 the following was posted: Added a new registry key to control the right-click menu style on Windows 11. It is called "S11_MenuMode" and it has 3 options. 0 = translucent menus, 1 = solid menus, 2 = colour tinted translucent menus The String name was incorrect in the Change Log. It should be "S11_MenuStyle" which has three Value options: 0 = translucent menus, 1 = solid menus, 2 = color tinted transluc

One of the changes made to Start11v2 is that you no longer have to hold the shift key down when dragging icons on top of each other to create folders. This was probably requested somewhere along the way, but I find it troublesome. When rearranging icons I am constantly creating folders by mistake. My request is to add an option in the Config's to require the shift key to create a folder. Thanks, pelaird

This action used to require the Shift key to be held down in order to group icons. I'm with you, this is very troublesome as I'm having the same issue. I wish they would change this back to requiring the shift key to group, or at least and option to require the shift key. I have this same problem when moving apps aground on my iPhone.

The Start11 Beta 2.0.2.0 is now available on your Account>Downloads, and includes: Added registry key "S11_DelayAutoHide" which when given a value of "1" will delay autohide show/hide. Create in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8 This key does not exist in the update but is addressed by the update. You will have to add it. If you need help, let me know. pelaird

Resolved the issue of having too many items in a folder resulting in being unable to see all of the items. It will now scroll them instead. Should we undo the Registry tweak for this before installing, or did you use the same string name and value? Never mind , it's still needed to keep the context menu in one column.

I understand the muscle memory thing. I have a 42" monitor and it's quite a haul over to the right side of the monitor, especially since the Start button is now in the middle. If you have Microsoft PowerToys, you can use "Keyboard Manager" to remap keys, including to shortcuts, on your keyboard. I remapped one of my keys to the shortcut WinKey+M, so now it's very easy show the Desktop with out leaving the keyboard.

[quote who="cirosito91" reply="58" id="3910842"] Yes guys it was the wrong icon I had, I downloaded an icon from your site and it was correct. I would like to point out something, I don't know if it is feasible or if it is already introduced in the program and I am not aware of it. Since I have multiple pages in the start and each time you have to click on the dots to go from one page to another, isn't it possible to go from one page to another wit
