WHAT !!? The code for start11 that I purchased doesn't work for V 2.0 -You really mean I have to BUY start11 AGAIN ?? -Aren't Updates supposed to be free !? [e digicons]x_x[/e] SERIOUSLY Stardock, wtf
Start11v2 is not an UPDATE, it's an UPGRADE. Most software company's charge for upgrades and Stardock is no different.
That is strange, I do not see that option on my Start11 v2.03. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
That option isn't available if you have the Enhanced taskbar turned on.
To clarify, I hear you saying you only want documents in the "Recent documents" list on the Start11, Windows 11 Style, menu like the stock Windows 11 start menu. That is a fair ask, but unfortunately, I don't think you can do that in Start11 right now. It's best to make this a Feature Request for an option to only show documents in the Recent documents space on the Start11, Windows 11 Style, menu.
This is what I see when I right click on my taskbar. What you have on your system? Post a screenshot. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
<img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/62e8c3f6-e7f7-4ddc-8118-66591a8e7af6.png" alt="" width="760"
Set that option to off and right click the Start11 menu select Group widths>6 small icons and that should work.
Sounds like the taskbar is unhiding, but it's not displaying properly. Try changing the Display Scale and/or the Display resolution and see if it makes any difference.
The smallest you can make the Windows 10 Style is 6 small icons.
For some reason Quick Settings is showing up in the "Recent Items" list.
I know, I just wanted to see if you got more results using this method.
I didn't see anywhere in this post that either of you are using the Start11 Enhanced taskbar. I assume you are if you're using the Start11 Autohide function. What happens if you turn on all the icons in the System tray so that there is no Overflow arrow?
I tried turning off a few System tray icons (I usually show all) so that the Overflow arrow appeared. Everything still worked as expected. I also enab
Very strange! I get the same listing when I open the Quick Settings. That needs to be fixed.

What happens if you click the "More" button to the right the the heading "Recent Documents?" Turn on "Recent Items" in the Start11 settings on the "Shortcut list" tab at Start Menu>Configuration and see what shows up when you click the shortcut. Also, include your Windows version and Start11 version in your reply.
The Recent items are listed from the top down in order of their usage. Try to think back to what might have triggered this item. This listing is between two pdf files you opened. If I were to guess, I'd say it was something in the Specs folder.
That appears to be some type of settings page for one of your apps. Not sure why it's showing up in Recent items. I'm only seeing files and folders.
This screen recording is of some apps you are more familiar with. They do not follow the rules either. Stardock Apps Auto-Grouping My understanding is that 3 levels of rules are broken in order for these apps to auto-group. 1. The box is checked so that identical windows auto-group unless they are already in another group.
Hi everyone! Has anyone else found that when using Start11 and using Outlook (m365), clicking a pinned Outlook icon on the taskbar starts another instance of Outlook rather than maximizing the Outlook window? I have two machines that are running Windows 11 and it only happens on one of them. (As soon as I uninstall Start 11, Outlook behaves just fine.) Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
To t
I'm at a loss!
Thanks to all the Stardock team for their relentless attention to the New Start11v2; making it one of the best yet! To all that celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you a happy holiday with friends and family. To all those that don't, I wish you a great week full of joy and happiness. Thanks again to Sean, Neil, and basj for their tireless help! pelaird
Pretty sure all you need to do is open the trial Configuration app; go to the About screen and click Activate; enter your email address that you used to buy Start11 and then enter your product key.
The problem is still present in version 2.0.3. Can confirm.
Do you have all your icons disappearing from the start menu, or just a few like nathan20? Does "Refresh icons" bring them back? Does restarting Explorer bring them back?
I didn't see this mentioned anywhere in this post, so I'm going to ask. Do you by any chance have autohide enabled in the Windows settings?
