This has been mentioned by many users and, as of yet, has not been addressed. Here is a suggestion, and what I have done to alleviate this issue. First create a new page in your Start11 menu, and then create a new Group and name it Pin New Apps, or something to your liking. Now when you pin a new app, folder, or file to your Start11 menu, select this Group, and then you can resize, as well as, change it's attributes before moving it to the Group or Tab where you want i

Thank you for your interest in Start11. Your suggestion for the Taskbar toolbar like Windows 10 has be requested many times, and the developers are aware. As of yet there has been no inclusion and I believe it is a limitation of Windows 11 operating system. pelaird

Right-click on a blank area of your dock and select "Settings > Add > Shortcut." Give it a name and click the Browse button. Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16" and select the app you want to pin. Then, if you want to apply a custom icon, click "Change Icon," and select the icon you would like to use.

In answer to your question, yes it's possible. Right-click on a blank area of the tab group and select "Appearance > Pick Color," and set the color to match the start menu background color. Now right-click on each icon and select "Icon > Color," and set the background color for the tile.

So this only happens when you have SparkMail grouped with another app or folder? Does it show this behavior with all apps or just specific apps? Are these screenshots taken while the app is maximized (Full Screen) or are they cropped? Does this happen if the group is not maximized or full screen?
