All MS has to do is put an updated version of Java into sp1... I don't personally like Sun's JRE I use it for netscape but it loads too slowly ... if you search you can find MS Virtual Machine on some support pages. Just not from MS directly.

I have slip streamed the day after the release of service pack 1... it does work and I have used the disk to boot from and do a full install. Works great!

XP Home should work with print screen then paste to your fav. Paint prog... also "Alt+Prnt scrn" works but is supposed to only capture the active window. Try running a system file check if that don't work. run cmd "sfc /scannow" must have admin rights.

Giving away, and/or selling a compilation is a clear breach of copyright, not covered by 'fair-use'. Creating them for private playing can be 'fair-use' I absolutely agree 100%
Al Julez in your case royalties must be paid to the copy right holders. In Canada if a business like a bar or even a dept. store plays music they must by law pay a royalty to S.O.C.A.N. a society setup to divey out royalties to Canadian artists. You can be sure that most places are not even aware that they need a license to play music in their business. (only if the customers hear the music tho.. not in an office environment... however it is not limited to just CD's radio counts as a royalty
Actually Copy right law in Canada and the US permit "fair use of a copy right" courts have confirmed that it is legal to backup your music create mixes... it becomes illegal when you sell the rips, or even give them away. They must be for your use.

You are certainly very correct about "too many" security progs... In my case I chose to use ZoneAlarm Pro... I like to know what program is doing what. I don't like a prog communicating without me being the one to initialize it. The virus scaner can not help you with that. I actually have the firewall turned off and only use it for program control(zonealarm). I use Mcafee Virus Scan Professional to catch the bugs... Zone Alarm Pro to keep track of which apps are trying to connect to the internet and I use a Linksys router that has NAT technology which allows me to have a hidden ip... should someone ping or whois my routers ip they would not get any returns... basically my pc is stealth. that really depends ... is it for multiple users to see on their own machines? If so then Html or Acrobat are universal if the ability for anyone to be able to see it does not matter then any others that have been mentioned will work good. <
