Another way to hide the Recycle bin on XP is to remove any other icons (if you want to) and hide the desktop icons. This saves you having to go hacking around in the registry. Right click on the desktop and de-select show desktop icons. Or something similar...
MY Res is still 800x600. But it's running WinXP now, so I feel better. Much better...

Change your font size in the view menu>font sizes to smaller or smallest then.

Well, I don't think WinXP can run DOS programs at all. You can emulate 95, 98, nt, or any other windowses, but you cannot run DOS.

When I am on my home PC (WinME, IE6) I cannot post here. When I post a message or a thread, it goes, but it does not come up here. I am not at home at the moment, so I can post. Do you know why this is, and can I do anything about it?

Um... What do you mean? That is one COOL desktop. Must be Win2000 with WindowFX and some other icon program - may be iconpackager. Other customizations are there too. Very cool! BTW, what's with the nick? It's like mine!
Computers - are you sure. I'd say both: Male >> not enough memory and impossible to figure out. (execpt for aliens like me) Female >> can do things right if nagged enough. But every mistake is commited to memory.
- So on a 24 bit screen in XP (mine is this too) does it give you 16bit color and 8 bit trans, 24 bit color and no trans or do both and convert whatever the transwould look like into 24 bit before displaying on the screen?
