You know WinXP? Is there actually any themes you can download for Windows XP (in the display properties bit...) wityh don't require a 3rd party program to install and manage them. I've looked everywhere and it seems to me Microsoft have made windows "skinnable", but they do not seem to have finished the job. There should be a theme format and manager in the display properties. Any ideas? Or do you know of a way?

If you are saying a mac is a BMW and a Windows machine is a Buick, then the Buick has a lot more optional extras. I think apps running on any OS is definately a good theng, then anyone could have the OS they WANT! Not be stuck with a certain one (Windows) because it is by far the most compatible. There are probably 20 windows apps to every mac app. Shame really. If that wasn't the case, I know what I'd be running!

Hmmm. Very strange. It may be something to do with your decoder/drive not likeing each other. Is your player on the correct speed? Maybe try chaging your decoder/player software. If you cannot find any problems here, ask the tech support for the device about it.
