I've got 800Mhz Celeron with 192Mb RAM. And a page file! My HDD is NTFS too.

Have any of you who uhave had problems used Microsoft's Tech Support? They usually solve the problem.
Grayhaze - I bet you were a kid some time!
And also, don't you have to go through the rubbish of formatting and partitioning and stuff? My computer also never came with a master CD for the factory preset configuratrion and if I reformat and re-partition and stuff, I will probably end up wiping the hidden partition full of this stuff which they gave me instad of a master CD.
Yes, but I haven't got a WinMe CD! It came pre-installed and Packard-Bell never gave me a CD. What would happen then?
Hey, AJ, is yours a upgrade or a full version. Mine is an upgrade and I have every install full of rubiish too. I have never had any of the problems you descibe, but my one every time I load up, my taskbar will not respond at all for about 2-5 minutes. The desktop and any windows which open do work though. Has anyone got any ideas about it? I'm trying to contact Microsoft, but their support takes soooooo long!
If your only account has got admin rights, I'm not sure. If not, log in as normal, go to user propertys and change your account type to admin.
Well, I'm gonna answer your Photoshop/PSP question. Photoshop is generally better but it is also much more expensive. Paint Shop Pro is generally up to the job - it's what I use. Really you need to be more specific so peopl can answer your other questions - ie. what type of skins do you wanna do? DesktopX, icons, winamp etc?
I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck on sorting it.
Give him a little time!! I make icons: I know how long it can take - especially icons which are as good as those. Put up with what you've got or go elsewhere!!!!! I hate people with that kind of attitude!!
OSX or OS9?
That's quite good. I think the font would look better if it was a kind of tahoma/arial based rather than tims new roman based font.
Ok. I understand. Could you post a screenshot with a menu open on it.
Cool. Visual all th way. I think the 'Rendering desktop' message should be in the middle though. But it is good work. Could you please answer this though: how do you actually use it? The screenshots I've sen don't seem to have any menu (start mnu, apple menu etc) type of thing. How do you get stuff done?
Of course they're signs! No, I'm not involved in it. Why such a strange thread?? But I suppose there's more to a sign than he info it contains.
Thanks... I look forward to looking @ that.
Ahhh... there there feline. It's OK. Dont worry.
HTML file? sounds possible. If it is set up to show the same background image as the desktop anyway but with a window in it, it should be able to be done. Web pages could be done this way too. Now how would I actually go about writing this HTML file, I wonder...
Umm... this is gonna sound silly, but what on earth is lindows??????????
Hey T-Man, you are brilliant!!!! What do you say, Hakemon? Icons?
Hey! I've just been @ your website - I like the new icons. I still think the buttons on the window titlebars need some attention - how about making them fade in when mouse over, and fade out when the mouse is not over them. Another question - how do you do stuff? there does not appear to be either a My Computer thing or a start menu / apple menu type thing? Also, I like the liitle shortcut arrow ion the right bottom of the icons (that is what is is isn't it??) Keep up the cool work
That is cool. I'd like to see the boot-up. Thing is, I only have 56k connection (which only connects @ 44kbps - terrible!!). Could you do a compressed version??? (My email: [email protected]) Is it graphic screens all the way, like XP?
Hi. This is one REALLY stupid question, but how do you get the 'Link' and 'Email' clickable links into posts? :l
Nor would I! Very cool!
Maybe... but I don't actually use iconpackager. Last time I did, my Windows icons went mental (WinXP). But at deviantart, I hav posted th beginning of a system set. Go to splash5.deviantart.com if you want to see them. I will probably post them here too when they are done. But still... anyone...? <img src="http:
