I just installed it today, first from the download after purchasing: didn't work. Then I uninstalled it, and updated it through SD Central (I love this program!), and still not working. I can't change the location or the units. Nothing against Canton, MI or the Metric system, but I'd like to have my local forecast! The time and update are incorrect (last update was 9/16, and like I said, I just bought it today!) I have other DesktopX Weather objects, and OD+ seems to work, just not the

It's not really a problem, just wondering why my Object Bar icon has a little star next to it, and it contantly seems dimmed? I am thinking that this might be because I am using the OD+, but now it's gotten to be one of those things that I just gotta know. You know? Well if anyone can shed some light on this, I can get a couple more minutes of sleep. Thanks. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images

Well I could download, extract and install. But it's not very intuitive for newb's. I'm actually going to have to read to use this one. It seems more geared for actually editing bootskin files rather than creating a new one, but I have only glanced at the app to see if it did work.

Well to add my $.25 (damn inflation!) I used Windows, OSX, and Linux on a daily basis. Do I prefer one over the other, not really. I like the ease of use of my Mac, gaming on Windows, and the power of Linux. Do I use the "Mac-ified" themes here on Wincustomize? If you are considering Object Dock, then yes, but I am using Universe Metal theme right now, and have used others like Indemnity, ToonXP, and others that didn't cost money too. Do I like the innovation that Stardock has come up wit

Usually I only upgrade when something new (software wise) comes out that I have to have better performance-wise. Does that say something about the software lately? I got as much RAM as I could afford at the time, and the best video card at the time (TI-4600) and haven't upgraded since. WindowsXP works with my AthlonXP 1500, and 756 Mb of RAM, UT2k3 plays fine, and the Object Desktop suite works fine, so why upgrade? I keep thinking about getting a new motherboard (sorry MAIN-board now), but inst

Well some of us use multiple operating systems. In fact if we only used Windows, then we probably wouldn't be aware of the fact that there are cool innovative features availible in other OS's, and thus might be content with what Windows is out of the box. Myself, I use a G4 with OSc at home, a W2K laptop at home and work, and run a Linux server at work with KDE.
