Hopefully the sovereign and custom faction editors will get a little love when the workshop is opened up. Definitely agree that you should have a way to edit the sovereign besides editing the XML.
Murteas
That skeleton looks great.
That looks good. Do you need me to make any changes or are you happy with the edit you've done?
I say bring on the 64 bit. Forget Sprites. :)
Here are a few ideas after a little bit of work. Let me know if you like any of the ideas and/or if you want some changes/tweaks to some. <img style="float: left;" src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12727985/Livin
Hooray for multi-threading!!! I finally get to work my hexa-core machine with a game. (Much more enjoyable than video encoding).
Sure, Let me work on it for a bit. I'll let you know when I have something.
I can confirm this bug. Should be relatively easy to reproduce.
This happens when you have the natural leader trait (i.e. heroes are free) and then build something that further reduces the cost (like the adventurers guild). It is a bug and should be reported in the FE support section so they can fix it for the next patch.

Well - it's really more of a question of what type of game do you like. edit - if you like 1st person shooters, I've heard great things about tribes - ascend - apparently lots of fun without spending a dime as well.
Honestly, I like most genres of games. I particularly like strategy, but I usu
So I am really a skeptic of the F2P model. I have avoided it, so give me some ideas of what I should try that will not make me hate this model. I've heard: League of Legends Battleforge LOTR Online Others: What is best to get me eased into this mode of playing.
Any reason we can't just say "turn world difficulty to easy and monsters to sparse" if you are going to whine about the world being difficult. If you don't like roaming monsters in the early game turn them off, there is an option for this.
Leeboy, that sounds like a good way to increase the atmosphere of the game while still giving the information that the player needs. I like it.
Great ideas here. I would like it to be easier to see what the AI is doing on its turn in my line of sight.
This would be a great feature. I would love to have this information. Even if it is a range of turns (i.e. 20 -25 turns before these monsters take root and start producing xxxx-superMonster).
Quoting Murteas, reply 5I like have to come up with a different strategy every time. I dont mind that, but I would still like to keep that to the faction creation, then for players like you they could design a random race generator so you can have your randomness and having to come up with your strategies... I like to come up with an empire idea when creation my empire (Or kingdom), and then play it out on the map, and it
Really surprised by those that don't like random tech. I'm with the OP. I like have to come up with a different strategy every time. I'm not talking about critical techs, but the high end techs should be more random. I'm fine either way, but I like random stuff with everything. :)
Could be fixed with a few maintenance spells that slow down the movement of enemies when they enter your territory. If you want to have roads, then you can decide if you want to manage the spells to slow enemies down. That or put a few scouts on the road leading to your city.
Definitely would support this. In fact where do I pay right now? :)
So, I'll work on new stuff if anyone has a request. Anything you guys would like to see?
The Gaunt's Ghosts series of books are pretty good, but I don't know if they qualify as Fantasy or Sci-Fi. I'll second the recommendation of Raymond Feist's books. I've just started the Magician series and am enjoying it.
Several of the sovereigns start with a path trait at the beginning and so they are probably picking up a 2nd at level 4.
Yeah, most of the stuff I do is modified game art. That way it stays with the artistic theme of the game.
Sure, that tree is also in the Elemental files. It is located here: FallenEnchantress\Gfx\TacticalIcons\Resource_OldGrowthForest.png in your game files.
Feel free to use any of them you'd like. Enjoy. The tree is actually an icon from the game. I converted it to a .png if that is helpful, otherwise it is a .dds file. Here is my png version:
