It's 2 sided you play the dinosaurs one round then the humans the next. It is not a fighting game like Primal Rage (that game was great!), it is an FPS. It's really fun, and the best thing is that playing the humans you really get the survival feeling of I better stick with my friends or a raptor is going to jump on my back and tear my throat out (btw - that is a real attack the raptor has). As a dinosaur it just feels right, you can s
This is something I had wanted to do, create new tiles for stamps and new quests using the Quest Creator/Quest Wizard, but the documentation for creating such things and getting them added to the vanilla game is practically non-existant. I wanted to create some really silly type of quests for my own enjoyment, but until someone puts out a good tutorial or video, I'm stuck waiting.
If you need help with the Qu
Anyone else playing Primal Carnage? It is a dinosaur vs Human FPS. It is $15 on Steam. Definitely a lot of fun. The best Dino FPS released in recent memory. They have already committed to free DLC for new modes, maps and other upgrades. New skins will be paid DLC. In any case, definitely worth a look. It's a lot of fun for a quick game. Humans play completely differently from dinos, what other game can you pick up humans
I'm uploading to nexus as well. I don't believe the site is public yet, but will be soon. They are trying to populate it with some mods before making it public.
Wizard version 1.0 has been released. Fixed some bugs (including the save the location of the install bug ) The quest creator has been merged in, allowing both advanced and basic users to decide how they want to start their quest. Just choose start quest and you'll get the option to start with a template or not. Then you can immediately save after using the template if you don't want to edit it, or you can choose to dive into t
Ok, I am in the process of combining the 2 programs. Essentially you'll have the option to start the quest wizard with a "pre-designed" quest made from the quest creator. Then you can save right away or edit whatever you'd like and then save it. I'll also look at how I am saving the install location and see if I can solve the problems that some folks are having.
Do we still need to avoid the undead? edit - In game I mean... of course zombie apocolypse in RL.. I will avoid zombie, skeletons and all manner of undead. :)
Are you planning on doing any spell work this time around, Murteas?
Probably, I've been concentrating on the quest editor so I haven't done too much, just a few spells for my own use. I really like the start you have here, I don't mind helping if you need anything. I'll probably release a few spells after I get the editor to a stable place. <p id="aeaoofnhgocdbnbeljkmbj
I'll try it out. Looks good so far. A word of caution, the triage spell can crash the game. For whatever reason, if the AI casts a Unit HealRandomInjury &

It should be saving the location after asking you, and then loading it the next time. Something is definitely up if it
Wohoo! Thank you for helping me troubleshoot that. I probably wouldn't have thought about the steam issue otherwise. Make sure you post the quests you make so we can all try them out. [e digicons][/e]
Maybe consider Mechanical Turk (by Amazon) they do Human interaction tasks for whatever price you want to offer.
Ok, so I've uploaded new versions that if they can't find the install directory will prompt you to specify the install location. Hopefully that will fix this problem if steam is messing it up somehow. The versions have been uploaded to WinCustomize and should be available soon.
Nope, fairly fresh and standard install, only a month or so old. EDIT: Also, not sure if this matters. Just tried another uninstall, the correct version does show in the program list. Also, I can't believe I haven't tried this before, but Load Quest doesn't crash me, but points to the mods folder which is in the My Documents tree, that doesn't seem right, is it? Is it possible that since
Nexus has been great for my fallout3/NV/etc mods. I really like the idea of a central site (although i was under the impression the wincustomize one was it). Mods = fantastic in terms of expanding a games potential and longevity. That is really weird. It has got to be a .NET issue, but I am a bit lost on how to suggest you fix it. I assume you are playing on a machine that has FE installed? That's not really necessary at the point you are crashing at, as I am just displaying a simple dropdown box. Any chance you have another computer you can try it on? When you installed the wizard did it have to download and install .NET? Can you unistall the w
Hi guys, I've spoken with Frogboy and he's more than happy for me to explore making a FE Nexus, which is a great news. I'm currently going through my first play-through of the game. I want to make sure I get some good experience in the game, and try out a few mods so I can work out how the system works and what, if anything, the community needs above and beyond what the Nexus sites already offer. <b
Hi all, I contacted Robin at blacktreegaming (they manage the nexus mods sites). I asked if they were interested in a Fallen Enchantress site. He e-mailed me back and said he was downloading the game and trying it out and that he was going to talk to Frogboy about it. I don't know what will happen but maybe this will be an option for us. edit: FE is now on nexus mods - check it out at <a href="http://f
No, I am thinking I would have lots of blocks of text that go together or are interchangeable. The quests would not be examples of masterful writing, but hopefully would provide a little bit of randomness for some of the quests. I would randomize the item you are looking for, rewards, monsters to fight, etc.
I will probably do this for my own benefit, but I am interested in finding out if there is interest in a random quest creator?
I like the changes here. Yeah, we need to figure out the uploading thing.
Thanks for the feedback. I like having the basic editor. It is really quick to make a quest, and I think it provides a good start for the advanced editor. Let me know if there is a type of quest you think I should add to the basic editor. BTW - version 1.002 should be available soon from wincustomize (had a download yesterday, I assume it was SD for approval), but you can get it here: ht
Try your hand at making some epic quests by using the quest wizard or quest creator: https://forums.elementalgame.com/417220 Make sure you share the quests so that others can enjoy them as well.
You can load it into the Quest Wizard, and edit the xml. Or you can edit the xml itself. You could just raise the level of the invading demons, or add some extra ones.
