that statement just reviles me. I hate those kind of people. Yes, it bothers me greatly too. When I catch them and ask them not to do it (and the parents not to let them do it) they act like I'm encroaching on their liberties. It infuriates me, it really does. Take pictures of them next time a

Feh. What bloody idiots. It's not really the kids' fault that their mom and dad are morons though. I see you got the thunder and rain we had here yesterday. -- B

I used to smoke, and I quit four months ago. I'm glad I did, but I could give a shit if someone lights up next to me. I can smell someone who's smoking more readily now (which I think is really weird), but I don't get all preachy about it. There's plenty of other shit that's going to kill me before some second-hand tobacco smoke gets me. I was a considerate smoker (I would put it out if it was really bothering someone) but usually I would tell the

This is exactly the reason why I will NEVER buy a home in a community run by a homeowner's association. If I'm spending hundreds of thousands of MY hard earned dollars on the biggest investment of my life, I'll be damned if I'm going to have a self-serving group of people tell me what I can and cannot do to my own home. And to think that people pay for the right to be a part of a homeowner's association. What a crock of shit. You k

I will grant that this is so, but I believe the number of "decorum units" required might vary from person to person. For instance, I prefer "Ock, you're being an asshole" over some less direct method of imparting the same idea. I certainly understand that others prefer their truth taken with a spoon of sugar, but even though I do

Oh, for fuck's sake! I got an error message from JoeUser and assumed my comment wasn't accepted. If you like, you can delete the 18 jillion extra comments. :/ -- B

You think you're bad? I think 8 out of 10 others have much worse grammar and spelling habits than you. For the record, I have not found anything of your that was difficult to read due to the writing. But then again, I spend a good deal of time on IRC where people write like retards. - B

The "Do over"!!! Oh my god. Sadly, I remember life before cable television. I remember the first cable TV box we had. It had a dial and channels 1-13 and A-T. Those were the days. Remember riding in the back of a truck? Riding a bike without a helmet? Saturday morning cartoons that DIDN'T SUCK? -- B

I know the feeling. The CEO of my last job was saying that I had a horrible attitude and I needed to improve. I asked him for some examples of where he had seen this and had none to offer. So I asked him, "How am I supposed to improve if I have no idea what's wrong?" I was met with a blank stare. Oy vey. -- B

I like a nice Guinness on occasion, Ooooh, oooh! A non-Irish woman who likes Guinness (even if only on occasion)? Wow, I didn't think you gals existed. Mmmmm, Guinness. I had a friend turn me on to Jim Beam and Coke. I like Beam more than Jack...it seems like it's smoother and more mellowed out.

I've seen forums with no moderation and they're not places that attract people of quality. There's only one place that I frequent that has virtually zero moderation, and that's my first generation Honda Civic board. We're just a bunch of gearheads over there exchanging ideas and questions and it's a re

But, that is why people should buy cars for what they need, not only because that's what they want. Yeah, I agree here. Unless it's something like a sports car (which is a frivolous car to own) I think decisions in car buying should lean towards utility. Something like a Liberty would work well for me

I'm a happy drunk. I tend to be kind of reserved in social settings, until I get a few drinks in me...then I'm everyone's best friend. I've been falling-down drunk more than a few times (I don't really like getting *that* hammered) but if I got a buzz on it's fantastic social lubrication. -- B

Hmm, I never really considered a Liberty an SUV per se, but more along the lines of a grown up Wrangler. Actually, I kind of like the Liberty because it's not as big as say a Suburban, but it's not a small truck either. I think people knock SUVs a little too much. I'm fully aware that 9 out of 10 people buy them for status or a penis envy type of thing, but they're actually quite useful if you have a regular purpose for one. -- B
