Dont ask me why I preordered, there was just something about the layout and screenshots that just had me hooked from start.
And the combination of Stardock and GPG, I like Supreme Commander and Galciv so this has to be good :-)

Align the names of the chatters and the things they say in columns. ... Why? Maybe it gets better with bigger fonts / textbox but now it is not easy to follow a discussion. The current chatbox is just not a 'friendly' way to communicate.

Didn't have much time, so I only just entered the chat room and left. However some things I noticed: The font is very small and difficult to read on my 1280 screen. The Text box is to small. Align the names of the chatters and the things they say in columns.

Just recently picked up playing a old game: Galaxy It can be played by 2+ players and is a lot of fun. A few years ago there were more players, but i'm sure there are enough people here who would like this game or have even played it in the past. Martijn GalaxyNG (Galaxy Next Generation) is a free play-by-email (PBeM) interstellar strategy wargame for multiple players. Each player gets to play one race in a galaxy filled with many planets. Races begin with one or m

I would like to have a even bigger galaxy size. And more options with defining the galaxy layout. like 4 clusters of habitable planets (depending on number of races) and some systems without habitable planets in a veeery large galaxy.

Availability in the Netherlands When you use http://www.elcheapo.nl you will see that BOL and CentralPoint will sell it (not available yet) If you don't have a Credit card maybe someone else can buy it for you? Contact me a gabberkooij at gmail.com and we can probably arrange something. Martijn van der Kooij (Netherlands - Zuid Holland - Bodegraven )

It would certainly help my oldest son somewhere in the not so far future to get him interested in GalCiv. He is 8 now. Hmm maybe I should start with Civ4 now Whatever personally I wil pl
Retail only, sorry with a dial up modem, download isn´t an option. And regarding the distribution of strategy first here in Europe. I think it will be impossible to buy it at all.
I'm from Holland and I did buy it directly from Stardock, including the CD package, it was delivered within a week. So if they ship it on a CD for some money much more people would be able to buy it. Buy it > get a serial number > a) download it or b) get it on cd or c) let som
Well thats the problem, you aren't supposed to use saves from old versions. They work for some people but often won't.
I wonder if an version number is stored in the savegame file, that way you can enforce not to use it in a newer version or give a warning when openening, or use the old way to load it and save it the new way... ~SDC~
