Sput... I think it will be kind of tough to come up with an exact formula, unless you always make your skin the same way. The default size of the More Programs Panel in SS is 190 x 30. The More Programs Background size for this skin is 190 x 25, but the draw method is stretch, so it would end up occupying the full size of 190 x 30. (Only the 2nd row of pixels from the top is stretched... pretty clever, Treetog <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl

Have you updated your WindowBlinds thru SDC lately? There have been a lot of update
I always knew Easter and passover is the same thing....am i mising something? Passover, or Pesach, is one of the most important and elaborate of religious festivals in Judaism. Its celebration begins this year on April 6th, the evening of the 14th of Nisan (first month of the religious calendar, corresponding to March–April) and lasts seven days
you are confusing something about the links Indeed, I did misinterpret your post. When I read this: unfortunately the links on top of the page here I took that to mean the links at the t
If you're referring to the actual text in the Address Bar of the Internet Explorer Toolbar (ie the text that says http://www...), then the answer is by default it uses Windows colors for the text and the background. However, this can be changed by the user through Internet Options in the control panel. Those colors are found in the left tree under Miscellaneous>Colors and in the right attributes pane as Attribute>Window>Text - Normal and Background - Window. If you're talking a
Although Tweak UI does do essentially the same thing as the hand edited registry changes, for some reason, having that option enabled in Tweak UI seems to prevent Icon Packager from undoing the change on my system. Since I installed and configured Tweak UI, my shortcut overlays have never come back, and I change icons a lot.
Actually ChasUGC, you can do it, as I believe the graphic I show here proves: The method I used is pretty much as I outlined in previous posts in this thread. From the CopperDeck 2 WB files, I took the sp-moreprogs.bmp and cropped the top off of it, to a new size of 190 x 20. I then added the "All Programs" text and a small arrow to the image. I then copied this image and made a new image 57
I have considered naming one icl file something different and including both in my zip but it makes the zip file too big. Is it too large because the second icl contains all of the assigned icons in the icon package plus the additional unassigned icons? If that is the case, you could make the second icl contain only the additional unassi
That's a pretty odd resolution. Are you sure you don't mean 1024 x 768? I personally don't use themes. I use objects, some of which I modify to suit whatever theme I'm working on at the time.
pcwebopaedia.com is a pretty good source for explaining basic computer terms such as the ones you asked about. http://www.pcwebopaedia.com/
You'd probably have better luck getting an accurate and informed response to your question by e-mailing Stardock support, [email protected], or posting on the newsgroups for windowblinds at news.stardock.com, or by visiting the stardock chatroom. [Message Edited]
Yes, Moshi... you are so very helpful... in your third post, more than a day and a half after the thread was started, you finally offer a few URL's, declare they are better than everything anyone else posted and depart the field. And in the meantime you take a few more potshots at people, declaring what they said to be worthless... Hmmmmm... the thread I posted is only six weeks old.. and in that thread as I read it again are some of the same URL's you posted as being superior... <
I doubt if he'll be able to get back in. I just had to see if I could view the thread coming through the back door, so to speak.
Umm, confusing, but I think I got the idea Yeah... I wrote it and I'm still a bit confuzzled. I was trying to sort it out logically in my head, but there were too many variables and subsets affected to lay it out in detail. The main point is that fixing the glitch in Skin Studio won't change the skins that are already out there. Some of
with so many skins out there, I would hope that stardock might consider just changing the labeling of the states in SkinStudio The problem doesn't just affect Skin Studio, though. Ultimately it affects Windowblinds. So your idea would make things easier for the people who were aware of the glitch when they created their skin, but what about thos
I think that goodmorphing posted this link previously here somewhere, but it's a great site. I've used it several times when I've found a site down or closed for good. It's a very good site, my only criticisms being that it has a maddening habit of missing some graphics from the original site, and the fact that the coding prevents you from saving a webpage as a document for offline use without jumping through hoops.

Yeah, I've seen Aussies with a strange sense of humor too. I guess both our countries learned a lot from our associations with the British. Only to the same extent that one could learn technology from the Luddites. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/

It just depends how your icon program resamples the image weither it be softer or sharper looking as it gets smaller. This is a point that should not be overlooked. The algorithm used to resize/resample your image can make a huge difference in the quality of the smaller sizes. I have tried Microangelo and Icon BuilderXP, but I'm now using
