You should always finish a game before installing an update. This has been reported with every update, I think. The updates are rarely compatible with a previous version save game. :(

I guess I forgot to say THANK YOU!!! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
Great timing guys! I'll be finishing my current game tonight :)
I believe the Draginol will not take over a system unless there is at least a certain percentage of population on it
I had evacuated the entire population when they took over my system so I think it just takes several months for them to appear. I think this will happen regardless of the system population. :notsure: ;)
I finally had a run-in with the Draginol this morning. Fortunately when I was advised to evacuate the system I'd already begun assembling an invasion force in preparation for taking out the Arceans. I immediately built a colony ship and evacuated the entire population while continuing to build my invasion force. Several months later the Draginol took over the system and I attacked with my invasion force the same turn and easily defeated them and recovered my system while only loosing one combat
I am probably the weirdest person here, as I've never played any of the MOO titles.
Neither have I Theoden, so maybe you're not the weirdest! :notsure:
I've never seen so much hatred directed toward a game before.
Tell me about it!! I never opened my copy because of what I've read in this forum. :notsure:
I bought GalCiv and MOO3 at the same time. Never opened MOO3. Hmmm, there's someone's x-mas present! LOL LOL LOL ;)
CariElf, Any idea when we can expect to get the update/patch? :)
It would appear as though Tarl has reached the end of his twisted journey, at least for the present :notsure:
Why don't we ever see the results of the Cyber Polls. We see how may votes were posted but that's all, or am I missing something? :notsure:
I think Theoden is right about it being transformers. :HOT:
Whoa, cool pic, Greldon. Is that from Escaflowne? I don't remember anything like that but I can't think of anything else with robots carrying swords.
I honestly don't remember where I got it. When I found out I could put a picture with my profile I started browsing the fantasy and scifi art/pictures sites. I probably visited 25 or 30 sites before I found this picture. But as soon as I found it I quit looking. :) :) :) :)
I just noticed that my ranking was at zero again. It happened to me a couple of days ago too! (:( [Message Edited]
"Sometime this week" is the last I've heard. :notsure:
Admiral Mayito7777 I'm giving it serious consideration. Did you get your game submitted the other day? [Message Edited]
Still, I like to keep mine protected, just incase a war does break out, or some nasty space shark appears right where the party stars are, or pirates.
I always put one of my best ships with each Terror Star to deal with sharks and pirates but if they declare war I take out the system before they can launch an attack. The AIs are usually quite a bit stronger than me and would destroy even a decked out star with an Excalibur for protection, mostly because of their vastly su
Unarmed? But it can destroy their star systems!
I know, but for some reason they don't seem to see it that way. :D When I move in a fully decked out terror star they always ask me to disband it, but don't seem to notice several "party stars" right on their doorstep. :HOT:
I often build a fleet of three PartyPalace TerrorStars all maxed out on defence, culture and military bonuses and march them around the galaxy flipping everything in their path, starting with the biggest threats. I just max out the culture modules and nothing else. The aliens usually won't question an unarmed starbase so you can move several into the sector without setting off the alarm. Also it's a lot cheaper so you can build more of them. :HOT:
PS How come you've got an avatar on your player profile? I want one! I want one! I want one! *Jumps up and down excitedly* See my first post (this being only my second) "Adding a picture to my nickname" or something like that. I think it was about 19 days ago. Anyway you'll find instructions in that thread. ;)
I kinda like the terrorstar/party palace myself. Try to flip them but if they declare war just blow up a few systems and they'll rethink the whole war thing. "when we attacked you, well we thought ....." :HOT:
Looking forward to it! ;)
Admiral Mayito7777, I think I'll see how far I can progress through the difficulties before adding extra content. I've only been playing a few weeks and feel I still have a lot to learn but I appreciate the suggestion.
Thanks. I really enjoy the game! :)
