Maybe a microdream in a microsleep while programming a microcomputer? But, honestly, it would have freaked me out too! WWW Link

1.) I have no musical secrets. I'm not ashamed that I enjoy all genres except maybe classical opera. I think it infuriates my kids that I enjoy all the music that they enjoy. 2.) Be grateful. Treasure the day, everyone and everything in it. In looking for the good in the world, there is always fulfillment and purpose. 3.) "How are you different today than you were a year ago?" If life is
I remember when message boards were local phenomena. For example, our city's Amiga user's group would have a file sharing and message board managed by a local computer retailer. In time, message boards became more amalgamated and networked into entities like AOL and university networks. Eventually the popularity of the Apple Hypercard linking concept caused the WWW to dominate the internet. There has always been a very social aspect to this
soothing and serene and makes me want some of that singin' too
Just needed to get it off my chest, I guess. Good for you that you could and did share this. You have my support and respect.
Gald you leikd it!
I think I got them all 'cept the conjunctions. No one ever taught me conjuction types. Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it..
It's already been said. You're are a good parent. You've taught assertiveness, politeness and fairness. I don't know that I would have done as well. I'm hoping yes.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's all it will amount to tomorrow. BTW I have a dirty little secret. I hate going to my own doctor. It's much easier to be on his side of the desk. Nothing worse than that feeling of loss of control. It's like, what is he going to find next? Being a doctor sure doesn't make it easier to be a patient! I do it anyway, of course.
People always accuse me of having my head up in the clouds. Perhaps you're a dreamer too. Reality just doesn't cut it, or maybe it does.
Fascinating. I always knew a lot of you "guys" were philosophers at heart. Makes me think we should start a "dead philosophers society" or something. I think I'm hearing that the answer to a question may often be "wrong question" or "does not compute" or "not in the same universe" (as in what happens when an irresistable force meets an immovable object?).
Sometimes the third option is a shade of grey for those who tend see in black and white. Resolving a dispute, for example, doesn't mean that either party has to accept full responsibility. Progress can be made when each accepts that part for which they are responsible. I often get asked, "Is my child asthmatic or not." When the asthma is mild, I explain that there is a spectrum to the disease such that mild asthmatics only get slightly wheez

Absolutely priceless. Hey man, a few more and you could do a stand-up routine.
When assessing for nerve damage on physical examination, a competent physician would check for the adequacy and symmetry of knee and ankle reflexes, check to see that a straight leg raise to 90 degrees was possible and then check for "saddle" (crotch) numbness. An MRI would be ordered if the patient failed any of those tests to further check for nerve damage and determine the need for surgery. ---------just for your info cuz I know your concerned. on the other hand, it cou
In my past I was a High School Teacher (electronics, physics, and applied math) for a couple of years and during my engineering career was a technical trainer for over 5 years. I also wrote a number of technical manuals over the course of several years. well I guess that explains it then; like me you are definitely not just the job.
I haven't read anything this beautiful in quite a while. My offerings: The Subliminal Sublime The Divine Distraction The Ineffable Space
The series is in the house. Now I think I'll read it!
hmm...my 15-year-old son reads Philip Pullman...
I could viualize the whole process without pictures. You have a knack for description. Ever consider teaching? Technical writing?
I've never met a norm, what are they like? you got me there, I've only heard tell -- the people who think they're normal and score exactly 100 on IQ tests, I think -- OK I made that up
