In marriage it seems we become both something less and something more. We marry who we will become as much as our spouse. For me, your poem voiced that angst beautifully.

Earthy, passionate and rich like that cake. Yummy.
All apps have dependencies, but Slack installs most of them by default. But, if an app won't run ya simply try to run it from a terminal and it tells you what it's looking for that it can't find. Install that and you're good to go. Slackware is a very much hands-on manual distro but it's very stable and very reliable. There's a big learning curve for it but it's worth it. Thanks. I'm up for it. (There's not always rpm's for stuff anyway.)
How clearly we each see the other. How limited we are in seeing ourselves. (mistaking weakness for strength and strength for weakness) Full of insight and spark as usual. Thanks!
We could never get our kids to eat anything but cut vegetables(carrots, celery, etc) dipped in salad dressing. If all else fails, I guess there's always the vitamins.
That's why I use Slackware I'll look into that, I hate dependencies too and I do have an old laptop available. thanks.
Sorry. Death sucks bad. Have one for me.
I wouldn't know about them types of bars, Mason. Changing the subject, there's quite a lot of Linux fans around here, because Redhat is across the bay in Burlington. The founder owns the Hamilton Tiger Cats CFL team. Glad you liked the city, but our biggest product being steel, it sometimes stinks pretty bad around here. Still, I guess, it's all relative. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ju/T_JU/smile
Enjoy, it's supposed to be nice for the next couple of days. it got up close to 70 in Hamilton, today. Still no shorts in sight here, though! Really helps my moodiness to see the sun.
Try Stephen King's The Stand I loved the miniseries. Gary Sinise was the greatest as Stu Redman, the protaganist. An archetypal theme. I think my wife has that book too! I've gotta finish the "Gunslinger" series first though....so many books
Pumpkin is doing much better because of the meds. Glad to hear that. Our male cat gets the hunting instinct this time of year. I'm ashamed to say that he brought four or five dead baby bunnies to our doorstep last year as we live next to a conservation area. Animals will be animals. He's not the top of the food chain though as there are foxes and the occasional coyote around. Even the deer are getting getting more aggressive lately and have a tendency to eat
I think I've figured out your problem. You've gotta ditch the mermaid!
My problem is due to laziness and not enough talent. I know how you feel. I bet you a lot of other people here do too. Personally, I know perfectionism leads to procrastination and self-criticism. I'd just like to write like it came out a tap coming out of my head, but I know I can't do that without more practice and at some point just saying ...WTF. (not to mention the painful surgery involved <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ju/T_JU/smiles/Tongue.gif"
Untitled#2: quirky, fascinating and enigmatic Scarlet Spell: deliciously expressive and descriptive Simply Be: imbued with feeling, claustrophobic desperation yielding to self acceptance I envy you your flexibility of style. I mean, I sometimes wish I could escape the oppressively pounding metre of my poetry. I think I'll try to practice something with a freer flow soon. The other thing I do too much is over-edit and secon
I like the rhythm of this. It could be song lyrics, you know? I also like that it has restorative values for your faith too. Nicely done Thanks Maso, much appreciated. I hear the poems in my head, long before I write them. I guess, then, we've both got rhythm! This poem also regards accepting all aspects of one's self. The Emperor's recent essay on dualism w
I love the redemption this poem conjures. that is what I was reaching for and to make it personal. I value your support. And it grabbed me! Only one who has been there can know that. Yes it did. It was GOOD! very kind, doc, thank you...this one came from my heart and left a tear in my eye. It demanded writing..
gee, what's next? A tesseract? ...Better not, I don't want your head a-poppin' outta my screen!
SAME EXACT THING over and over and over ...yeah, I like House, but the only suspense is in which order the patient will hallucinate, have an epileptic fit, vomit blood and hyperventilate ... ...agree Tex
That part which I thought broken is the only part that's whole. It helped me reach beyond myself into my very soul. Not demon at the gate, I see trying to get in But a soldier gone into the breach against oblivion My life you risked, I hated you you brother Caine in me Your motto: to try everything to
Wow!!! Those were some smokin' hot tracks. There wasn't a bad cut among'em mate. I especially liked the laid-back hip-hop-reggae of "A New Day". Definitely a step above most bar bands. A very unique sound. Loved your guitar. Obvious talent and hard work. (With a little luck besides, I'll be buying tickets to hear you in Toronto soon.) "Barryender Live" reminded be of RedHotChiliPeppers but more energetic. Great stuff! I see you use Celsius like us Canadians. The last of the snow drifts
I agree that the philosophical dualism of Aristotle, Aquinas and Augustine has poisoned our society and the persons in it. Thank you for a very thoughtful and impressive article. This poisonous paradigm seems to be central to those afflictions in which we are at war with ourselves. From a Freudian perspective the Ego of the addict is alternately shipwrecked either onto the shores of the Id or onto those of the Superego. Neither Dr. Jekyll nor
Thanks a lot...getting hungry now. Being a bit diabetic, I have to use the sugar-free kind. Nothing as sure as chocolate to lift the mood! (gustatory poetry in my opinion)
"Ugly Betty" and "House" both because of the characters in them that are rude and misbehavin'
Ok, so I thought of a song I'm embarrassed about liking: "Rocky Mountain High" by John Denver - so uncool but I loved it and used to try to sing and play it on my 12-string.
How wonderful to have celebrations based on natural events. Enjoy the Haika and the Hanami!!
