Anyone know which weather widget that is?
Looks like one of those deals where they've made a MyColors theme to sell and they're giving us the WB skin. Ok by me, beggers/choosers - gift horse/mouth and all that. Nice looking skin.
but there ARE a couple themes that will be released as WC subscriber premiums in just a few weeks.
'Course that's ok by me too :D

Doesn't look like you need to get into skin studio unless you're wanting to have specific textures on a skin by skin basis. Based on the 1st two paragraphs looks like you can: Create your texture image, or 2 or 3 Copy a .texture file over to a new file name. Edit the new .texture file in notpad and replace the names of the old texture images with the ones you've made.

From https://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?aid=364853 I see this, maybe that's it: A tip for creating textures: For those of you who want to make .texture files, you should make a copy of an existing .texture file and open it in notepad. You will then see there are three sections. One for the taskbar, one for the startmenu and one for the frames. The images do not

Seems to me in general that things tend to open up in the same positions they were in the last time they were closed. I think IE's been a little contrary sometimes and I've had to open once from the startup panel, put it in the position I want, and close it once to get the new position to stick. You might try that if you've got a few programs that are being contrary. For Windows Explorer, try opening the folder from OD, putting the window where you want it, and closing it

Since you've posted this in the ObjectDock forum I understand you to just be concerned with ObjectDock. Have a look at this thread: https://forums.wincustomize.com/340154 Note that you will still need to install ObjectDock on the new machine, this doesn't eliminate that. (Oops, I see that "tomorrow" is now "today", so you're likely done, hope it went well. I'll throw this out here anyway just in case.)</p

Guys that was (rudely) copied out of a post I made to this thread way back in July (reply #12) when everything was still up in the air. I'd guess it's some automated spammer or something. Anyway it's dead meat now, and looking at SamsonReal5's profile I see that he/she/it is as well.[e digicons]\o/[/e] Anyway no worries, just internet garbage.[e digicons]|-)[/e]
WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.3 (build 67 x86) - Shareware
I'm essentially giving you a "bump". There is no shareware version of Windowblinds. Where did you download this from?

XP3sp3, 32bit- Deskscapes/ "Disable Deskscapes Revert to your old desktop" function- Love the function. Could you get it to save the Windows "Position" setting (Center/Tile/Stretch) as well? It seems to always load the wallpaper back in "Stretch" mode. Again, love the function though, keeps me from having to fish the wallpaper back out.

Aleatoric- If I right-click on the desktop and pause dreams, I get a captured image of the dream showing on both monitors. The secondary monitor then keeps that image when I restart the dream, so then I have the dream running on the primary and a stillshot wallpaper of it on the secondary. That's on XP, 2 monitors, 1 card. Better than the blank secondary screen. Maybe that helps?

Seems like the Impulse Archive/Restore function would be a good option here to avoid redundant downloading. Not sure how it might work out, particularly in the case of transferring to a different machine. Obviously wouldn't restore the same user theme setups in use though.

I think some of the dock backgrounds shrink the icons down some and add some space? Maybe some of the tile-types? Not quite what you're looking for but maybe an option.
maybe i must set something for my graphic card ati catalyst
I don't think so, unless I've done it accidentally. (ATI here as well, and an old one at that). Make sure in OD config / General / "Performance Options" button you have "Optimize for performace" selected. Also, try unloading Object Dock (right-click on OD systray icon) and re-starting it, see if after re-starting it works right. Are you running any other graphics-intensive software

Might help: Go into ObjectDock config/Appearance section. Make sure slider underneath "Background" is set all the way to the right on "Opaque". Also might want to make sure the video drivers on the new machine are current.

You might skim this thread to see if it helps: https://forums.wincustomize.com/361304 Particularly reply #9 for the Non-MyColors version, reply #35, and reply #34 regarding "show freeware and demos"

No I really don't I'd just be guessing, I just know that sometimes clearing out the cache solves some problems. The best thing to do is keep yourself positioned by saving your themes regularly, then you don't have to re-create them. Saving and loading themes is done within the Object Dock configuration window, click on "Themes" item on the left side, click on "Save current dock" (or "Load previous dock") button towards the bottom. Glad it worked for you.
