I'm not quite really clear on what you're trying to do, but have you tried just dragging the icon from your desktop onto the dock?

The Diamond theme has been notoriously problematic for some bizarre reason. You might try a different free theme.

You do need to go into MyColors before uninstalling it and apply the "Widows XP Desktop" at the bottom of the list first. Did you do that?

What I've been seeing is when you delete the themes through MyColors, the actual WindowBlinds themes files are still left in the WindowBlinds directory. When I had a problem with a different MyColors theme, I had to uninstall the theme through MyColors and then delete the actual WindowBlinds files through either WindowBlinds config or Windows Explorer and that took care of it. Did you try that? (Maybe that's what Shirley meant by "completely".)

If you want to play you could make yourself a little widget or object that uses the canned "unload Desktop X" function, then point your Right-click to load that widget or object.

If you've saved your dock theme at some point via the ObjectDock Properties window Themes (on the left side) Save Current Dock button (on the right side) you can re-load it - as it stood at the point you saved it - using the Load Previous Dock button right above that. Ya a 10 second solid pause doesn't seem right. It's been awhile since I sat here and clicked on things and stared at the dock. What I'm really getting is maybe a 1 second pause (if that) and maybe a few seconds of stuttering, and that stuttering is mainly if I'm scrolling back and forth along the dock to make it zoom while the app is loading. ObjectDock activity does require a fair chunk of CPU usage while it's active (zooming or swing icons or such, hiding and unhiding docks). I think the pause you're seeing is ObjectDock waiting on CPU access to continue its activities. You bring up the dock - OD has full access to CPU, you click on a shortcut to open a program - the program takes the CPU while its loading and OD has to wait. OD should return to normal after the program no longer demands the cpu (like when it's finis

I think you're talking about a tabbed dock. I think what you want to do is get it where you want it (I'm not seeing a "center" setting). Then right click on an empty area of the dock or on a tab - not on an icon. On popup menu that appears, top item should be "View" - mouseover that and get its submenu, click on "Lock Dock Position". That'll keep it from being accidently dragged around.

? Should work. If nobody else has any other ideas (and they certainly might), you might try uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling. Also if you had any anti-spyware running while you were installing the first time, try installing with the anti-spyware unloaded (no, there's no spyware issue there, the anti-spyware software just has an annoying tendency to get in the way). Perhaps anti-virus as well, cautiously of course.

In ObjectDock Plus, in ConfigurationWindow-Themes there is a Package images for sharing section which looks like it will pull the images and background you're using in whatever dock you have loaded up. Don't really know exactly what all it pulls, but fairly certain it will not grab any icon images or backgrounds you don't happen to be using at the moment. Or any docklet programs.

You can change the font & size - ObjectDock Configuration, Tabs & Styles, "Adjust the font used for text on tabs" button towards the bottom of the right side. That might (?) help. As far as font color, "ya, what Cavan said."

I'm understanding you to say that you want the bottom of the maximized window to stop before it goes into the area where the dock is. In that case you want to "Reserve edge of screen" - OD Configuration, "Positioning" section on the left, "Reserve edge of screen" checkbox on the right side about a quarter of the way down on the window. That's for ObjectDock Plus, ObjectDock free may vary, don't know. Only available if the dock is not set to autohide. Or
