[quote who="VenusEnvyXP" reply="2" id="1933691"] Upon further review, I realized that the site I now browse Stardock games from (https://store.stardock.com/browse/games) does infact do the currecy conversion automatically whereas, when I was revieweing games earlier, I was doing so within Stardock, which does not do the conversion automatically. Therefore, my impression that Stardock had increased prices was mislead. I can only apologize for launching a compl

Maybe this will help https://forums.wincustomize.com/328061 Also, you do need to uninstall the free verion before you install the Plus version. If you didn't do that, uninstall the Plus, uninstall the free, reboot, install the Plus. I don't think that'll fix this particular problem but it will avoid others.

If you have saved your theme you quite likely can just re-load it through the ObjectDock configuration window. If nothing else you should see the default theme sitting out there. Once you load a saved theme though you've discarded whatever you've got loaded up now unless you've saved it as a theme. I don't really know what to tell you in terms of salvaging what you have now, unless you want to try saving it now and re-loading it (doubtful results, but who knows).

Odd. Just the generic suggestions: If you have any docklets running, go into OD's config - General, Troubleshooting Options Button, check "Temporarily disable all docklets" and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you've got a docklet in there causing you problems. If you had Object Dock Free installed before you installed Object Dock Plus, the free needs to be uninstalled before you install the plus. If you didn't do that, back up your themes and any im

If the above link doesn't cover you, there is also a seperate issue if you are logging on as a limited user. You have to be logged on as an administrative user, or start ObjectDock using the right-click "run as" option and use an admin user name and password while logged in as a limited user. While using the "run as" option the ltd user is actually using the admin's ObjectDock themes and can overwite one of the admin's themes if saved with the same theme name. <p

If I remember right they sent me an email with links. Easiest thing for you to do might be to ask them about it https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit I think one way or another you're going to have to get something from them for MyColors. (If you're a WinCustomize subscriber there's the a non-MyColors version of it showing in Subscriber Resources.)

I think what you are seeing is the result of the small default systray icons (32x32 pixels I think) being enlarged to the size that you are displaying them in your systray dock (for example 96x96 or 128x128 or 256x256). Taking a small image and making it a lot bigger will make it fuzzy or pixelled. The easiest way to get rid of that is to set the systray dock to display them at 32x32 or close to it. But you quite likely don't prefer

Sidenote: ObjectDock Plus and MyColors themes work fine together, no problem, and the Vector Black background looks pretty good with Harley [e digicons]:)[/e] Ah. Since it's not your pc, the first thing I'd do is go into MyColors, apply the standard Windows desktop, and see if the icons show then. (I'm still not clear on which icons we're talking about - the sytray on the right next to the clock, the quick launch icons, or the application buttons across the middle.)

That's fine, just wanted to be sure you were seeing "use Impulse to re-install it". And being able to save themes will certainly help. Do try the uninstalling and re-installing etc. though, it should not be dumping frequently like that. The other thing I think of is that sometimes a docklet or docklets can cause problems, so if you have any of those in your docks you might try either removing them, or disabling them in "Configure Object Dock"/ "General" section in left pan

Randall - since you and I both are looking at this right this minute I'll clarify for Philly- I don't think he was saying he thought Impulse was related to your problem, he was suggesting that you re-download and re-install OD+ through Impulse as opposed to doing it through Stardock Central.

I haven't run into it either, but I don't know maybe if it crashed or something... You do know you can save your themes, right? Config window, "Themes" 2nd from the top of the left panel, "Save Current Dock" button at the bottom of the right panel. "Load previous dock" button right above that to re-load one you've saved. If you had the free version installed before the Plus version, the free version does need to be uninstalled before installing the Plus. If y

You're seeing the "noise" images because the MyColors images are encrypted. They show the same way if you do a "thumbnail" view of the directory within Windows Explorer. The themes aren't intended to be edited, I don't know for sure that they can't be. If you've edited this one in the past, that might be your problem. Anyway, I'd try deleting the theme and re-installing it. If you have Impulse installed I'd delete/uninstall and then re-install it throu

This will sound insane but- If you use regular non-MyColors WB skins too, go into WBConfig and look at your "Fonts"/"Do you want to override the font defined by the skin?" scroll window and make sure "Allow the skin to decide on the fonts" is highlighted. If it's not, highlight it and click on "Apply changes". That fixed a problem I'd been having with invisible systray icons in Harley, made the taskbar and systray 3 pixels taller and let the icons display. (The systray i

I'm just trying to feed the information pool, Greater Good and all that, it does seem like these Diamond themes have a tendency to go sideways. Doesn't bother me a bit to use the theme from last month instead of this month. Here's my WB page: ----------------------- WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.3 (build 67 x86) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel bo

Hey Seabass- Since I have an unfair time advantage maybe this will help. The file they're talking about from https://www.stardock.com/products/mycolors/downloads.asp extracts a Diamond.MyColors file of 29,605.743 bytes, which is the exact same size as the version I installed in April (maybe from the same place, don't remember). I'm not saying it should be changed, it's a good solid "go-to" version that

Ya I use WebRoot's (same company, oddly enough) SpySweeper and it ignores WB just fine. No doubt that anti-spyware has to work on an "it's own best guess" premise though and I don't think any one of them guess right all the time, they all seem to require a little user judgement/interpretation. Just kind of have to take them for what they're worth.

Don't forget to stash a copy of the working version you've got - someday that StarDock page version is bound to change. What the heck, be bold and back them all up. [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
