[quote]I think I misslead you about the WII[/quote] Nah just my mental leap-frogging showing up again ;p . You can imagine what it's like when I decide to go poking around in a DTX script  - hack away, baby, hack away. [quote]You won't believe me but she is[/quote] Ya I think I can see all that mixed in there. Made for a pretty animal. A lot to be said for mixed breeds, dodge a lot of the inbreeding issues and can get some great results. Total mutts can be g

If anyone's interested ATI/AMD has some free additional graphics to download [link="http://game.amd.com/us-en/community_downloads.aspx?p=wp"]WWW Link[/link]. The "Fankit" tab, primarily directed at web page setup, also has a fair amount of graphics you can use - I mention that because reading the description of it a person might think "Nah, I'm not building a webpage, don't care" and pass it.

Nice puppy. Waiting patiently while you take the picture, going to make sure nobody touches that 2x4 :) . If that was taken last year, looks like he might be a pretty good-sized "puppy" by now, from what I can tell he's still got that "Oh ya, I'm gonna grow some more" look about him here. Congrats on the wedding. I have this bizzare mental image of a rock band playing, WWII planes flying, bombs exploding, and people bouncing around in tuxedos. Should be memorable! :D

Ya when I logged on I saw a pile of Seabass replies, looked like you were crankin' pretty hard, thought you might like something different to look at. [quote]At my side is a tiny cat, a puppy, and my fiancee. I'm good[/quote] Yep, I'd say you're covered there :) . Observation: If you've found someone that'll actually hang out while you do this stuff, could be quite the catch :).

Looks like this is just sitting here, so I guess I could at least give you a link to the official Stardock support page [link="https://www.stardock.com/support/"]WWW Link[/link]. The link to start up a ticket with them is about 3/4's down the page under "Still Need Help?" Windowsblinds does run fine with 2 monitors, I do it and other folks do too, so it should be a fixable issue. Not terribly helpful I know, but better than speaking in a vacuum.

Ok, got bored so I started chopping. Used Gloss Burgandy, deleted it via Impulse and deleted the actual WB theme, Icon Packager theme, gadgets, directories and files left over (pretty much all of them). Copied the .mycolors file back over to the theme directory. MyColors saw it, prompted for a serial/key (which it already had filled in, probably from some file or reg entry I didn't get deleted). It loaded the theme fine, didn't need to download. Impulse, on the other hand, s

And maybe, but I haven't tried this: I see the diamond file that is downloaded from the Stardock page [link="https://www.stardock.com/products/mycolors/downloads.asp"]WWW Link[/link] about halfway down is a filesize of 28,912 which is the same size as my old version which works. The Impulse version that is coming down is 28,916. So maybe the Stardock page file is the same as the working one I have? You might try deleting the WB theme via WB Config (better than just deleting t

In the "for what it's worth" catagory: I gave up and restored the previous (4/21/08) MyColors version of Diamond I had backed up prior to installing Impulse. I had tried uninstalling via Impulse and manually deleting the related theme folders (WB, Icons - Impulse only deleted the .mycolors file) as well as doing an Explorer search on Diamond*.* and deleting all of the related files that turned up, then re-installing via Impulse, still no go. Tried deleting through MyColors and

Hey- If I just back up the .MyColors file, even after the theme's been installed, that'll still back up the entire theme so it can be reinstalled without downloading again in case of system failure, right? Saw the other related files out there in the ThemeManager directory and got to wondering. Thanks.

[quote]Yep, it for me will not load at all using either MyColors or WB. It shows in WB config as the applied skin but it is not. XP Home SP3 MyColors and WB both up to date.[/quote] Hate to make a "same here" post, but "same here", including Windows version.

I think I got the same email you got, and if you look towards the bottom it says something like - If you prefer to install it using MyColors instead of Impulse, click this link and we'll send you a registration number for the suite. (??) I think that means you don't have to have Impulse installed to load it, but not sure as I did use Impulse. You would have to install MyColors. The last I saw, and this was several months ago, Stardock is only going to release new premium suites in the

I'm staying the heck out of all this except for one thing I can't stand to ignore: [quote]just stay out of the forums and galleries.I'll go sit quietly in my corner and push some pixels.[/quote] IR, I'd really rather you didn't do that, I like your support forum posts. Right now I can think of a recent one that was, well, pretty darned spectacular.

binbin: The method yrag has described does not generate a confirmation, it directly executes a logoff, restart, or shutdown, and you should only click the shortcut when you are indeed ready to logoff, restart, or shutdown. If you want to get rid of the 30 second wait, add -t 00 to the Arguments field, so it would read: -s -t 00 There is a space after the "s" and the "t". This will not change ObjectDock "crashing" though. I would guess that you might have a docklet

Only thing I can think of up front is: You do have unique names assigned to your objects, right? Also, I saw in another thread where there tends to be more DTX'ers in this forum: [link="https://forums.wincustomize.com/forum/37"]WWW Link[/link] so if this post doesn't turn anything up after awhile you might try there

Might want to let official support have a shot at it: [link="https://www.stardock.com/support/"]WWW Link[/link] Email link is about 3/4 down the page under "Still need help" Primary hours Mon-Fri 8-5 so you might run into the weekend...

As far as I know it's one at a time. I've never tried highlighting several within Windows Explorer, right clicking, and then selecting "Open" or whatever. You might try that, but ?????? I don't know what it would do.

Stardock Support is primarily 8-5, Monday - Friday, and it does usually take a day or two to hear back from them. (You should get an automated response almost immediately though, so if you didn't get that there could be some issue.) It will probably take a few emails back and forth, but if you just want the MyColors to run on your second Admin account I believe they can help you accomplish that. In the meantime, enjoy Think Green on the logon you're using now, it IS nice isn't

isomerboy: I suspect that this is something official Stardock Support can help you with. The link to start up a ticket is about 3/4's down on this page under "Still Need Help": [link="https://www.stardock.com/support/"]WWW Link[/link] Include a link or web address to this post, and refer to your reply #13 particularly. Also tell them if you installed MyColors while logged in as the Administrative user that MyColors works with, or the Administrative user that doesn't. <br/

19 Replies 64,854 Views

The systray will only load if you are logged in with Administrator rights, or if you start up ObjectDock by right-clicking on it's icon, choosing "Run As" from the menu, and run it as a user with Administrative rights. And/Or, ObjectDock free should be uninstalled before installing ObjectDock Plus. If you didn't do that, try uninstalling both Plus and free, rebooting, and re-installing Plus. Did either of this get it?

2 Replies 624 Views

Admin rights should work. Other thing that comes to mind is if you're using the paid version now and had the free version intalled earlier, the free version should be uninstalled before the paid version is installed. Not doing that seems to cause other problems occasionally as well, so if you didn't do that you might want to uninstall both, reboot, and re-install the paid just to clean it up a bit.
