I can't see how to enable it, but does it help my issue?
You don't enable it, you just don't check the "Force blur effect" in WBConfig. If the skin is made without taskbar blur in SKS (e.g., Lantana), you get non-blurred transparency now as you should. If the skin is made with taskbar blur enabled in SKS, you have to go into SKS and change its setting, you can't (and I don't think ever been able to) turn

Very very happy to see the non-blurred taskbar transparency back in Start11 v1.28. Took care of Curtains too. Thanks [e digicons]:)[/e] [e digicons]:)[/e]
Pumpkins: I saw a story on the news a few days ago about a pumpkin farmer in (I think) Pennsylvania that was growing pumpkin heads with faces. Frankensteins, vampires, etc. He's putting them in plastic molds while they're small and somehow manages to keep them growing in there without rotting and they grow into the mold shape. That's a new one on me. For those of us who shouldn't be trusted with sharp things. Well you did say "random"...
Currently writing up a bug report for it, I'll post the internal ID for the report when I get it finished up
Please refer to internal ticket #ODNT-3919. That's what Jim originally saw, the failure of the non-blurred transparency that appeared in Start11 v1.24 (or at least subsequent to v1.22). I don't know if that's related to the anomaly he's seeing in the blurred transparency. Thanks. <
I'm not seeing blur in the Start Menu with Diamond either, and it's made with blur.
"As far as I can tell" the WBConfig / Modify Skin / StartMenu "Force blur effect" tickbox doesn't seem to be applying blur to the Start Menu. I tried several skins including Corporate and Echo, toggling and applying a few times on each. Also, that tickbox seems to keep its checked or unchecked state as you switch between skins, instead of saving the state with each skin. That behavior is a little inconsistent but rather frequent, see if you see it. Thanks. <img src="ht
Am I missing something is there a way to prevent WB11 from overriding Start11?
This is WB10 but I imagine there is a similar setting in WB11. If the option is ticked, WB should use the start button chosen in Start11. If it's not ticked, WB should use the button from the WB skin. You'll need to apply the skin again after changing it for the change to take effect: <img src="https://cdn.stardo
Is this WB 11, or is it Start 11?
That looks like the non-blurred transparency failure that appeared in Start11 v1.24. Support should have an internal ticket on it. If the skin is made without blur in the taskbar and blur is not forced in WBConfig, the taskbar area is opaque. If the skin is made with blur in the taskbar or if blur is forced in WBConfig the taskbar area is displayed with acrylic blur
Pretty brilliant, I'd say. Intriguing. I'd have no use for one, but I can certainly see where kids or serious fans would think it's great. Ya, a little on the pricey side but not outrageous. I'll bet they sell a ton of these.
Some great news...will need peer review, but this will be a game changer.
That's interesting. clearly a lot of potential. I'd really like a longer-lasting solution than what we have now. That article refers to a 3 month effectiveness for the vaccines and boosters we have now, I saw on the WHO site 4 to 6 months I think, either way it's really not long enough. I'd settle for a solid annual shot one way o
Congratulations to everyone and a modest Thank You from me.
My condolences to you and the family Jim.
I get what they're doing. The more obnoxious they make the ads, the more likely you are to upgrade your subscription tier so that you can avoid them entirely. Unfortunately for them, I am both stubborn and spiteful, so that isn't going to happen in this circumstance. Looks like the Water brush would use these brush speed settings with a dream duration of 5.26: 30 60 90 Looks like the Water brush would use these brush speed settings with a dream duration of 7.90: 20 40 60 80
The work "blinks" threw me off. I believe I'm seeing a mismatched brush speed and dream duration. I use any of these wave brush speed settings with a dream duration of 5.26: 15 30 45 60 etc I use any of these wave brush speed settings with a dream duration of 7.90: 10 20 30 40 50 etc That should help a lot.
On the image above I would move the slider bar to Max Quality.
You know, I did play with that, and I honestly didn't see much of a difference other than almost doubling the file size. Maybe I wasn't looking at the right thing - where do you see the improvement/value? (Sharpness, color, smoothness....)? I really am kind of curious.
If you're exporting the dream with the default 25 frames per second setting, try using 30 frames per second instead.
And I think it's safe to say the vast majority of users won't fool with it. Many (Most?) won't even go through the o/s settings provided by MS to minimize the exposure, researching those and digging them out is enough of a chore in itself.
This is for a WindowBlinds skin, not a Curtains skin, correct?
how to make the taskbar
To increase the taskbar height, increase the taskbar buttons Text Margins for Top and Bottom: That will also make the taskbar buttons taller. If don't want the taskbar buttons taller, i.e. more
