I did a little testing. It has been a while since I used version 1. I found that you need to use the beta download version 1.47.3 for start 11 v1 to work properly on Windows 23h2 (at least after start 11v2 has been installed) Have you tried using the beta version of v1 in your downloads? As an additional note to add to the discussion. As of this post, Fences 5 is still in beta. Anything that is still in beta testing deserves to be treated as such. Beta software should be for people that are willing to work with faults and provide feedback on how to make those faults better. The subscription and pricing is also all part of the release preview. Since Fences 5 is still in beta testing this is actually the peak time to fix things that may be broken and good ideas

The Canary channel is widely thought of as the Windows 12 channel. But, I suppose that does not mean Microsoft won't put it on Windows 11 at some point. For me personally, I have grown past the Windows 10 taskbar as Windows 11 / start 11's development has advanced so I will not miss it. But, does this mean that programs such as StartAllBack will be toast once this update comes into affect? There could be a lot of disruption here for a lot of people.
