Hello Vinnie, Start 11v2 is still pretty new and should get several updates before you have to worry about upgrading to the next version. With that said my best guess is the next version of start will be start 12 specifically designed to work with Windows 12. This will not be a free upgrade, traditionally it is something like a 4 dollar upgrade fee. My personal opinion is this. Yes, we are close to a Windows 12 release and thus will likely have to pay for start 12 if we chose

Under your downloads, what you are looking for is the words, "classic subscription" under your download version of object desktop. As long as it says "classic subscription" you will be fine and everything will be the same as it always has been. The only change is now classic subscriptions have an auto renewal. Start 11 has been considered feature complete for a long time now so it's not like start 11 owners are even missing anything Stardock is not like Microsoft and can't keep pushing "free" updates. This is because Stardock does not use telemetry to sell peoples browsing habits and they are not able to force people to upgrade their hardware with TPM chips or AI chips. Stardock actually has to make their money in a more traditional sense instead.

In Fences snapshots you can restore layouts. It is set to automatically take snapshots every day and keep saved the past 3 days. So if you click the day it was last working and click [restore snapshot] it should restore your layout
