Hmm...yes! That's it!!! It comes...and goes!

I think DX is miles ahead of the rest of them. AveDesk has so few objects, I can count them with my fingers and Samurize is too script-intensive for me, there's no easy way to edit an object unless you edit the script. I haven't tried Kapsules yet...
Longhorn Inspriat? Not sure on the spelling, its a Visual Style by Stefenka. I dug up the link for you... http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/7631106/ [Message Edited]
Messin' with that new ObjectDock...
Pffft...it was just a lucky guess....
https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=3&SkinID=3542 - You need DesktopX for it to work. There's a link at the top of the page if you don't have it.
Will, I tried what you said, and yes, it does seem to zoom when you put your mouse in the 256x256 area. However, it only happens when I had animated transitions on, if you turn them off, it zooms normally. Try going to the DX newsgroup and see if there is any more info there...
And sorry, gang, I don't mean to bash anyone (I'm sure this community is awful nice) but I think the program is absolute crap. See? I knew the community was a good one, even if I think the program isn't worth it's weight in
The WB skin is called Dojo by Essorant. Just do a search...
I suggest reinstalling IconPackager trial, download the same theme that is giving you problems, after its loaded, unload the theme from the IconPackager interface, and switch back to Classic XP. Then uninstall IconPackager. What probably happened, when you uninstalled it, you left the current theme on, and it didn't restore all icons. Just a guess, anyways...
I think you may have a better chance of finding an existing set of icons and trying to get permission to use them instead of asking someone to create new ones for you. Just a suggestion...
That's wierd man, I was playing around with the objects and found it very confusing. I had two taskbars, one of them had a light colored background, the other dark. The light-colored taskbar had the same transparent effect thing you describe. The DARK colored taskbar had a normal text with the colors I picked in the properties screen. It gets wierder though, if I made the dark one 100 pixels in height or more, the text was solid, if it was 99 pixels or less, the text became transparent. The
I don't know what to think...but all I want to do plot how to burn down MS and save the penguins. SAVE THE PENGUINS MAN!!!! /me wonders if Jim Morrison is turning in his grave right now...
So one blonde asks the other..."What's further away? Florida or the Moon?" The other blonde answers..."HELLOOOO!!!! Can you see Florida??????"
Great suite, as usual from TSF! Incredibly nice of Alienware to release it to the public. Just wondering, who chose the name "AlienGUIse"? How the heck do you pronounce it?
Corona isn't a rip, they both used the same source for graphics. If two authors upload MacOS skins, they are both legitimate works, neither is ripping the other artist.
Sent ya a reply Carole, happy to hear it's working again!
Test DX first, does DX still crash?
Open the download, it will ask you if you want to install Windows Script, click yes. It should automatically install, it will probably ask you to reboot afterwards, just a long shot, but worth a try...
Sure, email is in profile. Just wondering, did you try the download yet?
So it only crashes with certain objects? That's very strange. I'm not really sure what could cause that, there are lots and lots of possibilities. The only thing I can really think of is maybe your Script libraries are faulty, DX relies on VBScript and JScript etc., so maybe reinstalling them would fix it...other than that, I'm not really sure. Here's a link for the scripting libraries. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C717D943-7E4B-4622-86EB-95A22B832CAA&displaylang
So what exactly happens, can you even load DX? Are you using certain objects when it crashes or it just crashes at random?
You've completely uninstalled DX, removed all files, registry entries, etc., then reinstalled it...and it still crashes? Have you noticed any problems with other Stardock software?
You can download any of the Logons now, and simply change the pictures. LogonStudio provides an easy way to edit logons...
I vote WB! Can I vote twice? How many votes do you need to be convinced to finish the WB? Well, whatever that number is...that's how many times I vote.
