I really like what AMD is doing. They just released the first sets of the Athalon64 processors...and they are more than living up to the hype. The new Intel 3.2EE still beats the AMD when it comes to 3D/Graphics, but the AMD is running at 1200mhz LESS! The Intel still doesn't win by much...I bet they are shaking in their boots right now. The first set of processors aren't worth buying, they don't have enough L2 cache or don't support DDR400 ram or something like that, but AMD is releasing th

That's very cool. Only time till Stardock is a household name...
I spent $1600 on my new rig. Including an extra $200 for XP Pro because I was originally gonna load up Win2k for free, but then decided to put on XP afterwards. I should of just gotten it with the PC, I would of saved $60 or so. But spending $4,000, that's just money to burn...but hey...if you got it...flaunt it.

I used to play pool a lot. I loved going to tournaments and what not, but pool abandoned me...and thus I don't play anymore. Otherwise I just lime & wine with friends...play the occaisonal video game and visit WC ofcourse.
I wouldn't get an Alienware. Instead, I would get a Falcon Northwest. The Exotix cases are a bit much, but you don't need the $600+ add-on. It's a GREAT computer otherwise. Firstly, the case is meticulously built, all wires are neatly tucked away, tied down, you open the case and any engineer would be proud. They also use the latest from AMD/Intel/ATI/nVidia what have you. Check any review on a Falcon, always 5/5, 10/10 no matter which site you go to. There are 3 top production PC
I think everyone is having that problem jarget, I know I am. Also, a few people mentioned it on the Site Issues thread...so it's probably a server issue...give it a coupla days and I'm sure they will get around to fixing it...
Your motherboard has to support the output of what MBM reads, like CPU temp. or what have you. To check to see if your mobo is compatible, go here and click on the 'Motherboard List' link. http://mbm.livewiredev.com/about.html
Winegums are these chewy fruity things...sorta like a really hard gummy circular thing...it's a foreign thing. http://www.candywarehouse.com/winegums.html
Winamp3 is a discontinued product. Nullsoft will now be focusing on releasing Winamp5, which combines Winamp2 usability and Winamp3 skinning. WA2 + WA3 = WA5. Another reason why not many Winamp3 skins are released, is because of the very complex code that goes into a good one. Also, WinCustomize is not really known for hosting Winamp skins, your best bet is Winamp.com. http://www.wina
Ok cool, thanks very much for your help yrag! Er.."All-Seeing yrag! "
Well, 1st part out the way...just one more thing...does this happen to you too? Enable IconX, and select multiple scripted objects. Crashes?
Ok! We're making progress here! I would of never thought IconX would interfere with an object? But sure enough, it doesn't crash with IconX disabled. Friggin' wierd! Also, if I select 10 IconX icons, it wouldn't crash...only when I selected objects. Well...it's not fixed...but atleast we found the problem! I'm gonna call you 'The All-Seeing yrag'. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ima

Right now, I have a CPU, RAM and Net In/Out meters, a calendar and a text uptime. IconX is enabled...
I stripped all running proccesses except for generic system processes and DX. Still crashed.
What do you mean by 'lock or unlock all'? Also, it happens with any object...Stardock Certified...anything, so I doubt it's a script issue...
When I drag a select box around multiple objects. DX will crash EVERY TIME. That 'blue' thing is the select box...I dunno the proper name...without DX it's a clear white box? The only other times DX crashes is when I'm tinkering...so it's expected. This happens 100% of the time and it gets annoying, if I want to move objects, I have to do it one by one...I cant select them all...
Can someone try this and see if it's a DX2 bug? Select numerous scripted objects...does DX crash? Here is a screenshot of what I mean... I had posted this in the Neowin DX board, and got a reply from Frogboy asking me to mail the DesktopX.dmp file...which I did. This was almost a month ago and 2 new beta's have been released since. So now I'm not sure if it's just me or they just haven't gotten

Sig, after re-reading your post, I want to say you're right. It's a misunderstanding, I wasn't thinking clearly at that moment in time, I just read your post the wrong way. Sorry 'bout that... [Message Edited]
Sig, your post is bit hypocritical (no offense). First you say more people use the uxtheme patch than StyleXP software, then say the patch is posted in sites that frown upon warez, then you say "All they know that the crack is free and why pay for an unnecessary program when you can get the job done for free?" Isn't that last statement considered using warez? Yes, it's very true...but warez none-the-less. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm
