the toolbars aren't always correct and menus are not skinned. the tabs are not skinned either. some skins change the scrollbar. it skins it enough for me to not matter.

what you can do is a)use dxplayer b)use windows media player activex c)use third party exes that can lower or raise volume. with all three you will have to write dxscript that will call the raise function for one of the three, and the lowerfunction of one of the three. I suggest using dxplayer as it comes with dx. the third party programs will probably be the easiest if you know how to call them with vbscript, but they will be hard to distribute.

you can skin it sort of. Right now there are no skins available that will allow window blinds to even sort of skin it. you want a skin that only includes the icons.

well there shouldn't be any problem because of the way compact startmenus work. all they are are startmenu's whose right pane has been resized so that the text is cut off. I don't know why it wouldn't work with 4.0, but would with 4.1

to use these programs you need to either read the help file/manual that comes with it, or search for tutorials. those will only get you enough into the program so you sorta know what you are doing. After that its experience. the more you use it the better you will get. also if you use tutorials, don't start making and submitting stuff from them. most of them will not help you get really good with the graphic editor. instead use them as an introduction to the tools they use to make

webpage: create an icon by right clicking right at the end or at a divider and choose create shortcut. right click on made shortcut, type in the address to the page in the command/link/location (I forgot what it is called) line, choose an icon and a name, and it should work folder: same as above accept accept type in the location of the folder into the command/location area. I don't know about your adsl connection.

I have made a port of simplex subzero, and I think chaninjas about to be back (I still haven't gotten permission from him to release it and I made the port over a month ago). I might make ports of some of his themes updated with all the goodies if chaninja will let me.
