I believe that what Geoffrey wrote is right. But their are a lot of places to get very nice screensavers. XX made a program that uses svg to make screensavers. Very interesting and it has a lot of pontential.

I think what he meant was that you can't run windows programs very well if at all on a mac, and vast amount of programs only available to windows makes windows a logical choice. unless you have a specialty that a mac would cover.

xp is very reliable... at least for me. but then I guess I know what I am doing I haven't had it crash once, and I have never had to use system restore. I still don't understand what you mean buy "does WinCustomize work on Apple?". WinCustomize is an internet site, and apple computers can access the internet...at least the last time I checked.

well jeff. 1) stylexp is just a spruced up modified uxtheme file. they both work just the same. to use you install it and then fromt themes tab in display properties you should be able to change themes. 2) There are differences. at least in what I like doing. witht he performance optimized you can't add all the little doodads that the msstyle author might of included as accesories through system files and etc. Also you have less options if the skin doesn't display correctly. 3)the mo

it just happens to me with the hibernate thingy. I have heard that microsoft did some silly things with it and it isn't as reliable as it could be so it might be a problem with hibernate and not windowblinds. of course the black thing could have happened at other times but this is the only time that I have noticed it

an easy way to hack your system files (that is what you will be doing) is to get restorator. it allows you to see the resources in the dll and exe files and change them as you find fit(resources being icons, bitmaps, animations, etc.). more issues. sometimes when you come out of hibernate some of the parts of the skin turn black. mostly in the start menu. If you reload the blind then the black goes away. and this bug has been there a while. and I haven't noticed any of the problems you listed jeff, but then I haven't really looked. the black thing is pretty darn obvious.

It makes sense in a wierd way. If some just wanted to look at the best then you just click on the screenshot button and see the best. the problem is this initial rating that determines whether or not the skin will be seen intitially is rated by the admins and moderators.
