It isn't Xp doing that. You should go into WB and set a per app exclusion for AOL. I am guessing you are using AOL 9? WB does not work well with that version, or 8 either. Just try that and it should fix the problem.

All I was saying that if this person has to ask where to find Longhorn , then maybe they shouldn't use it? lol I did overstate it a bit, but it should not be used as a primary OS. Its just too buggy at this point, and is very resource heavy because of all the changes in it.XP and 2000 have similar architecture, whereas Longhorn shares little that is similar with either. I would suggest using a multi-partition, and just doodling with it.<img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif

Longhorn can be found, if ya know where to look. However it is still in alpha phase and not beta. And from what I hear it does not run well even on the best WinXP machines, so I wouldn't recommend dl'ng and installing it unless you have some exrea cash for another pc.

Blonde starts microwave to heat up her hairspray...Microwave catches on fire and she calls the fire dept, telling them to get to her home asap because of the fire, just as she was about to hang up...the dispatcher says "M'am how do we get to your location?" Blonde rolls eyes and says " DUH!!!!...The firetruck!", then hangs up. (dumb joke, I know )

They are all a strange bunch, that is without a doubt. Janet may appear normal, but how can one come from a family like that and not be scarred in some way or another? I was reading more on the case and I saw something that said the child in question is a cancer patient and that MJ used wine and pills on him, all of this revealed in therapy in late September. This case is different from the one 10 years ago, the child then refused to testify, whereas this child has not. I am really starting to

Well I am reading on CNN that MJ will be turning himself in tomorow morning(Thursday). I have a relative who's a Sheriff's Deputy and he tells me the raid had to be done because of very substantial evidence,no guessing games at all. Maybe he is guilty, maybe he was the last time. Interesting to see how it will play out. What do you think?

That's kinda what I was getting at, it seems a high price as all I would want it for was the email. I don't think I would use the other parts of it enough to justify spending that kind of money on it I guess. Call me cheap. But its a kiler app, no doubt.

Best of luck to you Keila. Everyone needs a break sooner or later. Just take time and breathe a little, live and laugh a little. Sometimes life can jump up out of nowhere and really throw us some curves, but thats common knowledge I guess. You'll find center again, I am sure of it.

I could see MS charging ,maybe 50 bucks for just Outlook, thats reasonable, but over a hundred dollars? That seems rather..well..insane! Guess I will just stick to my 35 dollar Pocomail3.

30 Replies 9,353 Views

Yes, it can be I 've found out, went down to the Office Depot, thinking I was gonna get me a copy and I nearly fainted at the price.....lol..$109 dollars. It may be good, but it aint that good!

I have read alot of really good things about Outlook 2003, is it available for purchase without having to buy the complete Office 2003 suite or not? Dumb question , I know..lol But I don't need alot of office software I'm never gonna use just to get a good email app, ya know? I currently use Pocomail3 and it works flawlessly, I think out of any email app I have tried, this one was actually worth paying for.

MyIE2 would be better, I prefer Avant as an IE based browser. MyIE2 is just too busy for me... But I think Firebird will trump IE eventually, thought Opera would be the one, but I am not so sure of that now.

Being a Firebird user/lover, I would suggest tabbed browser, all in one mouse gestures(got hooked on those with Opera) and the one that allows you to edit user option files. And welcome to Firebird, there is no going back now
