Thanx Alverin! I saw warlord 4, I don't like it so much... and usually, when I don't like a game, I don't like to dedicate time in writing a review (also, writing a review is sooooooo hard for non-english-mother-tongue guys... believe me!). Byez S1mone

Thank you guys! I'm sorry, it was easy understandable, but I didn't noticed it!! I've posted the bug on the sticky... hope it will work! Bye S1mone
Hi! Some bugs for version 1.11.078, I hope that some developer will answer to this: 1. the "near omnipotence" technology doesn't offer me the choice to study "excalibur technology", as reported in the tech tree; 2. if I change government, the economic bonus remains +20, instead of going to +40 and +60 ad manual and other resources report; 3. if I change social/industrial/research rates, and then I move on the research panel, it doesn't update the month remaining;<b
Hi! I don't understand, LDiCesare... what does it mean "htm" ? what is a "stickied thread" ?? Sorry, english is not my mother tongue! S1mone
Hi all! It is strange that I was able to build anti-m missiles, but not excalibur... the problem is that I was not even able to research that tech... I've updated the game 4 days ago... 1.11.078 ... so strange! Thanks LDiCesare... I'll consider attendable JS's site from now on! Do you think that developers read this forum searching for bugs and other issues?? S1mone
Hi Physicist!! Thamks 4 the welcome! what is RL ?? anyway, no worries for the top 10... we are "beyond" that... ;p S1mone
Hi Sirian! I saw that the game (space empires IV) is pretty old, it's a pity that they didn't a new version with better graphic and other stuff. BTW, I'll think I'll give a look at it after my next galciv game (now I'm playing masochistic, let's see if this AI is really good or not!!) Bye! ;p
Hi all! Finally I'm in the Realms Beyond! For eradicus: tell us more about space empires IV. Maybe, to get a really good game on space conquest, we'll need to merge civ3 + imperium galactica II + a good good good AI (still haven't found a REALLY good one). I love multiplayer, but it contrasts with turn-based, and I don't like too much realtime strategy games (like Command and Conquer)... they are too stressy, and too tactical! Byez S1mone
Oh yes, I visited it, but in some things it differs from the real rules: for example, the excalibur ship in the tech tree requires an alignment of 30 (or less, I suppose), while in Javascout's site it is not mentioned. You know, the problem is that there is no perfectly updated rule source: the pdf manual, javascout's, or tech trees, all have some imperfections... I consider this a lack of developers, because documentation is a key in this kind of games. For example, I was sear
Hi! Good Dracil, I don't have a pdf editor, so I'd really appreciate that! But in the game you are not able to see how much you have to research for that particular technology... in fact, I'm arguing why there are tech trees with tech costs... maybe the developer gave the values to the public. Thanks a lot!! S1mone ;p
Hi! Dancer: it was not that case... it was during normal movement. Dracil: how can you update the pdf version with correct values?? There are a lot of differences!! Are you sure you can do that? well, in that case... great! And... yes, I refer to the pdf manual Couslee: but you need to go back and forth, because you have to adjust the research value... oh, why not a simple indicator on the economic panel, that says immediately how many months are remaining for that tech
Hi! The manual says that: republic +20 democracy +40 federation +60 Also, a lot of other things are not correct in the manual... it's a pity that you have to remember the differences between the manual and the game... BTW, for the excalibur technology: I noticed that in some places you have to be 30 alignment to build it, in other places there are no limits... wow, what a big confusion!! I don't like it... the game is great, but the documentation sucks.
Hi guys! I've noticed some bugs: - the "near omnipotence" technology doesn't offer me the choice to study "excalibur technology", as reported in the tech tree; - if I change government, the economic bonus remains +20, instead of going to +40 and +60 - if I change social/industrial/research rates, and then I move on the research panel, it doesn't update the month remaining; if I go back to the economic panel, then back again to research panel, it shows the corre
Hi! The first part of the question was in fact directed to Stardock... hmmm, 3878 metaverse players may mean that galciv copies are around... 20000?? S1mone
Hi! Just to know, how can I see the total number of people in the metaverse, and how could I know the totale number of copies that the game sold??? S1mone
Hi! It's a pity, Sirian... well, I hope you'll have a good time. I played the first UFO:enemy unknown and it was great... I don't know if Aftermath is still so great or not... Let us know!! Byez! ;p S1mone
Hi! Message mainly for Sirian: I read here and there in your thread (not everything, I'm not mother tongue english!), your empire seems really fair and players love honest gameplay, and I like it. Maybe it could be nice to summarize the main things that your request to new members, and the nice things of being part of your empire! LOL Ah, I checked the web site, it is really nice!! On "portals" I found "Empire statistics", how are you able to produce that?? It's really really n
Thanks a lot, Jedi!! ;p S1mone
Hi! What is the 1IP trick?? 1IP means 1 Influence Point?? I read that this trick was corrected in new galciv version... it is true?? Thanks from a new-new-bie!! LOL
Hi! I quite agree with Hermann, maybe in the next expansion pack the designers can add some new features, maybe instead of just proposing them here, we can ask them to add a special thread in the forum, in which some of the features can be deeply discussed by the players!! BTW, nice idea!! S1mone
Hi!! I'm sorry, I didn't check on past posts... my fault! BTW, it's a pity that they will not change it. Eradicus, I didn't understand something: do you mean that you can assign different percentages of research/military/social for each individual planet?? or you meant for the whole civ?? Thanks guys!!! ;p
wow!! Thank you very much, Obi Wan! How do you say it in english? "may the strength be with you" ? something like that? I must see Star Wars in original language, I think it's pretty nice! Byez! LOL
Hi! thanks eradicus, but I already read almost everything there, before deciding to buy the game! I also find a lot useful this one: http://webpages.charter.net/trevorpowdrell/ I didn't find something similar on the official web site! BTW, is there somebody that can send me the pdf?? Byez!! LOL LOL
Hi! It seems an interesting idea, but I usually use millimetric paper (I don't know if you call it this way in english, probably not because of the metric system), a paper that is like a squared paper, but with little squares. I then design the map and do notes on the paper, it works well (I used such things for other games like civilization and it worked fine). To CariElf: I see that you are a "senator" and your empire is "stardockians" ; it means that you are a developer of th
Hi! Maybe I was not too clear, expecially for Amidala (or maybe my english is not so good, sorry about that!): I said: "if something, 4 example a Colony ship, costs 50, and you produce 20, you finish it in 3 turns but waste 10 production points. It could be really better if you could save the 10 production points in excess for the next production choice. The same for social production, and for research." I meant that it would be nice that the game itse
