I'm number 2! I'm number 2! Yay! I was wondering why I had always been so high-up; but it just so happened that I got in on JoeUser on the bottom floor. One post a day seems to do it for me. This article with all of its responses should give you a bit of a boost, eh? My wife has a blog too, but it isn't in English. Sometimes I read it.

174 Last week about Wednesday, I had that "...like a cake out in the rain" song stuck in my head. I thought that was a little weird, as I hadn't heard the song for a few years. Then about Friday, the radio program that I listen to in the morning (Bob Yates on WMGT AM 1220 Twin Cities) used that song for bumper music. Finally, Homer sang tha

173 Hey there friends. Well, the results' show is over. Matthew the football player was eliminated. He left in a pretty classy fashion. Even though I didn't really care for him, I was a bit sad to see him go. Weird, huh? Each week I am impressed at how the votes usually go toward eliminating the poorest singer of each individual night of the com

Hello there friends. I hope that you're having a happy day. I am not doing so well. I am under-the-weather. Over the last week or so, I have been putting extra-stress on myself. I have added new classes, I co-presented a speech with a colleague, and I had to take-on three (complete beginner) non-English speakers into my program. (I had to translate for th

Republican Jason? Don't you like your job? I think our urban schools (especially) will get worse and worse once vouchers go through. Besides vouchers, those AYP penalties that your school would have to pay (unless you can retain high-achievers and English speakers) would deal a crippling blow to staff and programs. If the people who pay property taxes (and vote) receive vouchers, I doubt many bonds will pass either. (Why pay more

171 Hey there friends. I hope that you're all enjoying yourselves today. I am awfully tired. After another busy day at work (and they're only getting busier,) my friend Meagan and I gave a speech about ESL to a group of teachers in our district. I think that the speech went well. We had a lot to say. Tomorrow I will have three new non-Engl

170 Hey there friends! I hope that you all had a happy weekend. Now it is back to work. Let's hope that this week goes by just as fast as all the rest seem to. Last night as I was watching television before bed, I drank a cup of coffee. I figued that it wouldn't really affect my sleep that much. Wow, was I wrong. My mind was racing, I had lots of vivid dr

I think that the Packers are owned by a city. I think that there are economic benefits of having the host city own a team. I couldn't imagine the cries each time the TWins sign a free-agent, or extend a contract. People who are against government spending would gripe to no end. If it is hard to get a stadium, imagine what it would be like to get the payroll above 56 million! As far as I see it, why not help the team make a new stad

The kids that I work with at my elementary school really like flags. Kids are really interested in the colors and patterns. If you have maps up on the wall, the kids can then match the flags to the countries on the map. There is a website called "flags.com" that sells mini 4" flags. You could label them, and glue them on the wall. Of course you could get stickers of flags too. That would be cheaper.

I am embarrased. I checked. I have responded to your articles before not knowing it was you. Most recently, the "Must See TV" was right up my alley. -I didn't know that was you. If you told me, it must have flown under the radar. Weird.

Cool Jolynda, I didn't know that you started a blog. I will have to add yours to my favorites. (Of course I don't know how to make a "friends" list yet.) If you ever need inspiration, let me recommend this blog to you: http://www11.plala.or.jp/enikki/before.html This blog belongs to one of my all-time favorite students. She writes about herself and her life. I aim to make my blog similar to her blog. It isn't i

I think our spring break coincides with easter. We have to wait until mid-April. Next year we won't be so lucky...

Yesterday (Friday) I decided to get myself a new jean jacket. Spring is coming, and before long it will be too warm for me to wear my winter jacket. I got my last jean jacket in 1997. I collected enough Pepsi points to earn a Pepsi jean jacket. That jacket served me well. I wore that jacket every Spring and Fall (and most of each winter -a jean jacket was good enough when I lived

About Ron J ...Yeah, I remember him in porn movies in the early 80s. He was that short guy with an "ok" penis ...Now he is an old guy with "nothing special" Are you sure you've got the right guy?

Cats are fine if you like to pretend that you live in an iron mine. P.U. They are a good way to torture your friends with allergies too. I have hedgehogs at my house. They're really easy to care-for. Cute and cuddly too if you let them get to know you. I was really attached to one of them that I had. He was very tame and friendly. Unfortunately he died last fall. I still have three left. Hedgies don't stink (much,) t

Hey there friends. It is finally the weekend! Yay! I am at home here in front of the computer. I have just watched my sumo for the day. It is now 10PM. I am just sleepy as all get-out. I usually like to spend my Friday evenings after everyone in my house goes to sleep watching TV, listening to the radio, and playing on my computer. I feel like I am "losing" if I go to be

Let me guess: you're a frustrated performer yourself. There will always be people who are "famous for being famous." This time it is a guy who can't really sing.

I wonder what it is: I like Drew Carey. The cast is basically the same for the English and the ABC version. (Ryan, Colin, and Greg.) The set looks basically the same. The jokes are nearly the same as well. Since they're so similar, the mystery to me is that I just can't stand watching the ABC version of the show, but I love the original version. Could Clive be such a difference-maker?
