I like to get deals, but I don't have the patience to dig through the stuff in the thrift shops. Lots of people really like it though. It is interesting how some Goodwills have good furniture, and others don't. Say trin, you're from Minnesota too, right? Where is your goodwill? There's a good one in Elk River.

I tried to print code in there. Somehow it didn't work.
Add the following line: That is:
Yeah. Naps are good. I fell asleep during some of the organized crime shows.

Thanks for the "warm fuzzies" friends. I appreciate the comments.
"Bone Crackers" may be rice crackers (senbei) made with ground fish bones. They are sold in Japan, but they're really uncommon. I've never seen such a thing, but my wife has heard of them.
Hey there everybody. How is it going? Today is one of those lazy weekend days that I like so much. I woke up late, and then I spent the day playing with my wife and baby, and watching television. The most ambitious thing that I did was to assemble a play center for the baby to sit in and play. Tomorrow I will be back in it (at work.) I will have to make sure that all my arrangements are in order for those god-awful state-mandated
Yeah. I hear that Americans changed their salute after it had been adopted by the Nazis. Apparently that was the way that people used to salute.
I just checked. Thank you Sir Peter Maxwell. I stand corrected. Maybe I can change the title of today's entry to "I am nominated for 1 JoeUser Award."
**Below is the original blog entitled: "I have been nominated for 0 JoeUser Awards." After posting it, I had learned (thanks to SPM) that I qualify under the "annoying" category.** GemCityJoe had a great idea. Make a sort of "academy awards" for our blogging community. People's blogs were nominated, and n
As did Dan Kaschel, I take inspiration from the name that Mom gave me for my screen name. My other screen name is Chipperprime. Chipper was the name of my first pet hedgehog. Since he was first, I used the "prime" part.
No kidding. I often criticize other bloggers for their poor spelling and sentence structure when presenting an argument. Poor English simply makes one a target for ridicule, as well as weakening one's argument. Baseless statistics are worse than bad grammar.
I try really hard to stay away from anything contraversial because I don't see the point in argument. I mean, if both sides are going to get dogmatic, what's the point? That said, I have recently posted an article on Michael Jackson which may inspire some disagreement. We'll see what happens. GemCityJoe had a point too. I wouldn't have visited his site if he hadn't commented in mine. That said, I seem to maintain a reasonably high
One of our fellow bloggers who likes to call himself imaginit had a nice idea. He suggested that users of this weblog show what "the source" of their weblog looks like. I thought that was a pretty good idea. It is possible to learn a lot about a person by looking at how he or she decorates the workspace. This is where the Jamie Burnside blog comes from: <img src= "http://www.geocities.com/chipperprime/workstatio
Those "Rubba" articles (suggested above by Jeremy G) are compelling. I am sure that Michael Jackson will have no problem getting himself declared "insane" if he ever decides to go that route. To be his counselor would entail a lot of job security, wouldn't it?
About six weeks ago, the Michael Jackson trial was pretty big news. I think that he was worth at least one segment every half-hour on most of the national news providers. Then Janet Jackson shows her boob on national television, Martha Stewart has her trial, Howard Stern gets censored, Mel Gibson releases the Jesus flick, and the Academy Awards came and went. With all of those other "distractions" it seems that Michael Jackson has fallen off
Yeah. We got like four inches or so. I am debating whether it is worth it to shovel, or whether it'll just melt quickly anyway.
Hello friends! I hope that you're having a happy day. I am enjoying a day off from work. Since we had to work extra hours over the last two days for Parent-Teacher Conferences, today's break is our compensatory day. I sure needed it! Running around between three schools and rushing in and out of conferences is exhausting. I had two goals for myself today. Both of them required me to sit "on hold." The first goal was
Yeah, Remo was awesome.... Or am I thinking of Emo? That Pee-Wee Herman guy. I don't know Remo Williams (I have heard his name though.) Is he a Bond writer too?
I had my wife record ER on TNT for me this morning. We had a late start at my school because of conferences on Wednesday, and I got caught up in the storylines. It just so happened that a season finale/ cliffhanger was on Wednesday. I needed some closure, so I asked her to record today's (Thursday's) shows. Since ER wasn't on at nine, I watched my video. After a twelve hour work day today, we'll have a day-off tomorrow, so
Bush = Wanker. Need I expand?
I'm from Minnesota. I'd doubt that I'm inbred... much...
No kidding! Nothing brings me down as much as an ER rerun! Now that February Sweeps are over however, there won't be as many new programs as we were able to enjoy in February. Must-see for me (besides ER): The Practice, and American Idol. Get this: My wife gets to stay home with the baby. She watches 2 hours of ER on TNT every day. Lucky, eh?
Before going to bed at night, I like to read something. Until recently I had been reading the "Harry Potter" series. Reading Harry Potter was great from the beginning. Since I had started reading the series after the fifth book had been published, I had the luxury of being able to start reading a new book in the series in succession as I had finished reading each one. Finishing Harry Potter left a bit of a void in my life. I ne
