Very much appreciate sharing more feedback! I do agree that late game techs should bring a punch, but I think changing penetration is not the answer to it. Even in late game, light guns should not cut through heavy armor. They should deal more damage to unupgraded foes, but penetration is a very important mechanic in forcing a fleet diversification. Just my 2 cents :)

Thanks for the new details!
Hello everyone, thanks for the report! I was able to reproduce the issue on my end, and will inform the team!
Hey, I will forward this issue to the team. Meanwhile, could you try deleting the c:\users\yourname\documents\my games\ashes of the singularity - escalation\settings.ini file, and verifying game files on steam and see if that helps?
Hey, try navigating to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\sins2\settings There open "settings" Find the line "gdpr_accepted" And change 0 to 1 Save your change and try it again
Hey, thanks for sharing your desires. I will let the team know!
Hey, thanks for sharing the feedback! In Sins 2 guardians do not have aoe indeed. It's a single target cast, and guardians have 6 charges on the ability. Once the shield is out, they will no longer provide protection. In terms, why that guardian have some shields but did not use it's casts, I can assume that likely you checked out the guardian the moment it got shield burst (it gives a lot of shields at once), and it did not have time to cast the ability yet
Hey, whenever a crash happens, please share the log file from %userprofile%\Documents\my games\Ashes of the Singularity - Escalation The file gets overwritten on a new game launch, so if you want to focus on the game first, just make a copy on your desktop and share it, whenever you have time for it :)
Hey Unthwarted, do I understand it correctly, that this bug did not happen to you in some time, while the game version was below 2.9? And could you share a save file from the current game version, so that we can take a look at it?
Hey, thanks for sharing the detailed feedback, I will make sure to forward it to the team! Subspace scanning does have a few other minor advantages, but you are correct in how it may be overvalued, thanks for bringing it up! Military techs are generally considered more valuable, cause even if you cannot make use of it right now, it's more of a state secret to get that tech in the first place With the technology graph, I believe it accounts heavily for science productio
Hello guys, we are aware of the issues with Offworld, and are actively investigating a solution. Thank you for all the detailed posts! For a workaround, see message below: As of July 7th, Unity's UNET service was discontinued, which completely broke multiplayer for Offworld. Apologies for picking up on that so late and not having any plan in place to deal with it, but we'll look to get something working again as soon as possible. In the meantime, single player remains funct
Hey, RNG is a factor in Ashes. The difficulty itself sets the bonuses and some logic preference, but the ai will adapt to what's happening in the game, and sometimes it can be better at it, and sometimes it can be worse at it. Without inspecting the game in detail, it won't be possible to tell reason for specific strength or weaknesses of ai - but your catch is absolutely correct and AI can perform differently at same difficulty level, with human player being the biggest factor in how AI resp
Hello Bronan! I am sorry to hear your game crashes! I will let our team know about this issue, so that we can investigate further
Game tries to give you a best-all-round ship. If you have your own preferences, like "all shields", there is no single button for that. However, there is a "ship designer", where you could design ships (their appearance as well!), including the possibility to create a ship with 1 beam attack, and 150 shield protection :P
I guess, if you are first in everything, those 2 Thuliums will be soon in your territory ;)
