Daiwa, your patient's story sounds optimistic so I'll share it with my friend. Unfortunately, your comment confirms what I have read regarding her age. Thanks for the comment. LW, another optimistic story. She didn't catch it early though. Pregnancy and childbirth masked early symptoms and then I think she procrastinated going to the doctor because she was so busy with her three boys. Thanks for your comment too.

My best girlfriend since the 4th grade is battling colon cancer that has metastisized to her liver. She is now embarking on a new treatment called TheraSphere. Apparently it consists of radiated glass beads that are threaded through directly to the tumors. I'm hoping someone out there knows something about this treatment. The more I read about her kind of cancer, the more scared I am. It is considered stage 4 colon cancer and the current survival stats say that

I thought Smith's acting was exceptional. The original screen play for the movie made so much more sense and was much truer (from what I hear) to the book. I thought the ending sucked even before knowing anything about the original. I went to the movie knowing very little about it and came out really liking it. There were moments that scared the crap out of me and the sight of NY city as a waste land was pretty impressive.

I felt both desirable and undesirable at different points. Early pregnancy feels more desirable than late pregnancy for me. Late pregnancy is just miserable for me. A relationship has to be mutually beneficial to be successful. If one person feels like all they do is give and never gets anything in return (which sounds like your problem) then something has to change. Both of you need to feel loved and appreciated. I am so with you on this subject especially with making changes via private sector vs legislation. Isn't it obvious that the government doesn't know how to handle it?
