Why get married? I can't imagine what would spur him to "settle down" now. Isn't he in his 80s? I remember seeing an episode of The Girls Next Door or whatever that show's called, and the girls were all talking about how they'd like to have babies "some day". I think that translates to "once Hef kicks it I'll think about marriage and babies".

Can you really take anyone named Bucky too seriously? I think the writers picked a lot of poor examples but I get the idea. I was born in 1970 in BFE and can relate to pretty much all of it except my parents didn't smoke or drink. They used to drive us around in the bed of a pickup while cutting down trees for firewood though. They have creative memory about how safe they kept us though, or, they exp

I don't think there would be an argument here if this story pertained to a maximum security facility. The problem here is you're talking about people in a county lock up. If you're nasty enough to end up in max. sec., I don't care if you get fed nothing but junk but if you are waiting in lockup, you might be totally innocent. Poor nutrition can lead to many problems, some of which can be hard or impossible to rectify. I agree that any nutritionist that deems bologna and nutritious should be

What ever happened to sending something back if you don't like it? Are they trying to say that she put so much salt on the buger that is was poisonous? If so, do you know how much salt that would take? The officer could take one bite and take the thing back and complain. If McD's wanted to fire her for over salting, that's one thing. Having a trial over it is simply ridiculous. But then again, our country is well known for ridiculous law suits.

What a doll! Potty trained at 2, you go girl! The girl thing is very new and different for me too. My little one loves trucks but she also loves on her dollies like the boys never would. The boys had my dolls around too and they usually ended up headless in short order. They are very different!

Hehe Yeah, I think that was in the Mad magizine that was up at your cottage Very cute...just don't let him try and sell it Could have been. The kid absorbs everything her reads and hears. I'd never try to sell anything my kids say. Now, videos of things they do....

I remember watching SNL and they would often spoof the evening news with stories like: "A common household cleaner that might be in your home right now might be killing you!...Find out which one at 11!" Well, our local news had something so similar I laughed out loud. It was something like "Two common brands being recalled from store shelves. Find out which ones and what danger they present at 11!" Come on! If something is common and dangerous, just tell me!&

Our ten yr old son often cracks me up and makes me think. We were talking about The Deathly Hollows the other day when he came up with this gem: "Mom, Voldemort is a lot like Michael Jackson...they both have no real nose, they are both seriously creepy and they are both obsessed with a little boy." Clever boy.

I didn't make any so I'm right on track Seriously, the baby lbs are coming off a lot slower than I'd like. We have been dejunking since we moved some stuff to our cottage and it feels great! I do have a goal, not so much a resolution, to find a new babysitter and reinstate date night. It will be very important come Fall to make a point of planning time with my husband or else I'll never see hi

How cute...I love her hat. Thanks. It's cute, keeps her blonde haired head from scorching and helps keep sand out of her hair. She seems to enjoy dumping handfuls of sand on her own head.

Looks like she just got done eating dirt. LOL Yeah, she kept tasting the sand even though she didn't like it. She kept trying to taste stones and shells too I'm glad Maddie's enjoying the water. Has anyone gotten swimmer's itch?

My youngest had it when he was 4! I think it is neat! A creative outlet. They surely are creative with them. The sets might get assembled in intended fashion once and then they soon get reassembled as ships and all sorts of other crazy stuff. Both are more mechanically inclined than either of their parents. I think that inclination skipped a generation. Try not to vacum up too many.....lol. Too late!

One of the things I miss most about my childhood is the berries. We used to have so many huge, lucious blackberries and raspberries. My mom and Grandma made the best cobbler around. I could smell it as I read this. My grandpa also made some wicked home brewed brandy. thanks for the walk down memory lane. I guess it's the next best thing to being there sharing some with you.

So you're saying that if I stay on the beach at the cottage, I might have a chance It's the closest thing to living in a cave but much more pleasant. Brad has internet there but I don't plan to take my laptop and I don't tend to use his. I am planning to take our radio but there isn't a TV. Maybe we'll just play CDs to be safe

Ryan turned 7 on 7/12 and Star Wars Legos were at the top of his wish list. My hubby & I got him this Sand Crawler set. What was I thinking?! This thing had over 1600 pieces! Big brother Alex got most of it together in a day but I had to step in and help out when the floor kept falling apart. To anyone out there who works at Lego....des
