Please don't tease! I might have to watch today just to see if it is true. Please let it be true!

Those people are the scary kind of evil. The kind that looks so inviting and is hidden behind "success". I think a most of us can't relate to the Skillings of the world but it is a little scary to consider how easy it must have been for the lower level people to get swept up in the "success". Enron's tag line was "ask why" and one of the guys in the documentary said he stopped asking why because he knew he didn't want to know the answer. So I guess he was the hear no evil
An experienced survivor who has maneuvered around many obstacles, you are looked up to by those who rely on your good judgment. I hope this is accurate
Wow! They sure are growing. All three are great looking kids. Anyone without mommy goggles would still say you have a beautiful daughter. Time sure flies!
Coffee, not tea? So happy for you K. Say hi for me and best wishes. Life must be much different for her these days without your dad. I bet she'll have a blast catching up with you and spending time with her grandkids.
Whoa, you are way too hard on yourself. But I can relate. We sent one of the boys to bed with no dinner once and I think I cried myself to sleep. It was a last ditch effort at getting a point across and it worked. I sooooo understand the frustration. At least you didn't beat him
Wow! Very inspiring. Congrats and keep up the good work.
Wow, I can't imagine.....wow. She has clearly never potty trained a child! She's really letting her looniness show.
Use Cloth during swimming too! You wont beleive what those disposables hold! You're showing your age Dr Guy. They have actual swim diapers these days (disposable ones).
That is the scariest thing! I lost my little guy for just a couple of minutes at the mall and almost had a heart attack so I know how 15mins mst have felt like an eternity. The good thing is, she'll now know how important it is to not go off on her own. My little guy hasn't done it since. Happy birthday!
double post and it won't let me delete
I often see people who bring their own canvas or cloth bags for their groceries. I have a couple of canvas ones that I got over the years from magazine subscriptions and I have a couple of cloth ones from Stardock. My local market also sells them right there for $.99. I also use the plastic bags as garbage bags. Rather than purchasing
There is a really good example of a simple way for people to "go green", but they dont out of pure laziness. Don't use plastic bags at the supermarket! This isn't entirely true. I often forget to bring bags and even when I do, it seems I always have too many groceries to fit. I reuse the plastic bags over and over again though. Als
Awesome pics! The ones of #1 & #3 remind me of mine. Thanks so much for sharing!
yay, I pretty much already do all of the above.
I'm 100% American. My grandparents were all born in America but most of their parents came from Europe. My dad had a Dutch great grandfather who came over and married a Souix Indian. The others came mostly from Wales and Ireland. My maternal grandmother made a lot of Irish foods and used Irish terms but I can't say my family has kept any heritage alive past English gap smiles, blonde hair and blue eyes.
All great points and info Karma. I think recycling and reusing is something we can all do and, like you said, garbage in our landfills is an undisputable problem. My procrastinating powers actually contribute to one form of conservation. I do very large loads of laundry so I use less soap and less energy. I dry one load after another which conserves energy because the heat from a previous load helps dry the next faster. Being crafty is one way of recyc
Still, as much as we bemoan the fact, it is a change, and something I do miss a bit. The 2am feedings Ah yes, well obviously enough time has gone by that you don't remember how crappy those 2am feedings can leave you feeling. There are plenty of things I miss about having a newborn...2am feedings is not one of them. 8 months of sleep depr
For the second day in a row my baby girl allowed me to get 7hrs of consecutive sleep and this morning the sun is shining and it is over 40 degrees outside! I feel great! I feel human again! Prolonged sleep deprivation can cause your brain to become sluggish. I was starting to fear alzheimers. I was walking around in a fog every day. Thoughts drifted off as quickly as they floated in. I think 7hrs is the magic amount of sleep for me. Not too
Change is always for the better eventually There is no way I will ever agree with this. My home town has changed from a quaint, loving community to touristville. That will never be a good change in my book. I understand what you are saying about good advice but it isn't necessarily so. Al Gore for instance says that what is ha
Eat something and drink a bunch of water and see how you feel. A bad headache will get me in a bad mood as fast as anything. Any one of your reasons would get me there quick though. Hope the chinese food is working its magic
Who cares if celebrities don’t practice what they preach, none of us are perfect. We like the ones who don’t say anything because why, because they’re not a hypocrite? We all have a choice, if a celeb chooses to use there influence to affect a positive change it’s much better than not doing anything. I would agree if that were true. Like I pointed out with the bus, change isn't always for the better. And I'm sure there are tons of little ways that don
Very well thought-out, well written article, Jill. Why thank ya TW! I am feeling particularly lucid today thanks to my baby girl finally allowing me to sleep for 7 consecutive hours. Sleep makes a world of difference! <TD class="mb-Body-Quo
I watched GMA this morning and, like a lot of other talk realted shows recently, they focused on "gowing green". They showed all sorts of "green" products for the home. All the while I was wondering what everything cost. At the end of the segment they addressed the cost issue with the answer of "All of these products are comparable to regular products on the market". I don't know for sure about those products but I do know that a lot of the "environmentally friendly"
