Very nice tutorial...the symbol is actually one of the very old Masonic symbols. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from you, Sir Zombie.

GREAT idea with the tutorials, perphaps I shall create a few The feature will definitely help the rookies to the skinning world.
This not only goes for WB. I've seen countless users hop on IRC and ask "How do i install the skin?????!!?" Most WC users just haphazardly download skins, icons, themes, and the like assuming that it will magically work. Perhaps all non-subscriber or non-Stardock customer downloads should go to a new Download page, which warns the person that you DO need a program to get the skin to work. There cou
Apologia/Disclaimer: This article is full of my highly biased and honest opinion. I have not yet begun to skin WindowBlinds, so I am a novice at skinning. These are simply my observations and rants about skins I liked...and a few I didn't. If you feel I didn't include a skin that deserves its rightful props, just drop me a comment, I'll be happy to add a skin to
PG-13....we're pretty used to this in the old WC forums, but with the forums being tied into JoeUser, where language isn't always PG-13....how's that being handled? I doubt that we'll have to worry about "Adult Content" on WinC...usually the members or wizops catch on to bad material quite quickly anywa
All documents, all mp3's, everything on my D: was gone. It would have done the same to the C: I was sure. I had a virus in the system about 8 months ago and I followed the directions to remove it, but I think the virus changed this program to make it do that, so I knew ok time to reinstalled XP, a clean installation later and the
Make sure you're signed in, and just click "My Account" and go nuts. You seem to be able to sign in fine, so maybe you're just confused ;)
Nice! I'll have to try these out! :D Anywho, I wish there was a way to customize the shortcuts on the Open/Save menu, as having shortbuts as huge icons and changing them to my whim would definitely help me out a bit. :HOT:
I definitely like the WB and OD, and the AveDesk is cool. I have yet to try out it, but soon i will :)
Just to focus on a few of the more recent updates... I feel that there's some sort of trick hidden up Stardock's sleeve that they are going to pull for the final release. I doubt that this yellow will be the final version of the site, and just the update with those buttons are a big improvement. As for today's updates, I LOVE the Newest/Popular layout. The emphasis on articles is nice, since I'm more of a fan of writing about this
Thanks much!! Next time I'm definitely gonna proof it a little..."the potential to do massive potential" Oh well, who says blogs are grammar tests, anyway
Hmm, this should be wrapped in the Installation as a readme, or at least linked to somewhere! Good job, Sir Essencay!
Thanks for the all the good compliments! (And for the feature!! That's 2 in a row...hmm) As to EventHorizon: I meant the Breakout Skinners to be just the new faces to the scene this month, and he was undoubtably one of them. I felt that some credit, if any, could have been awarded.

New name links finally make the site usable! Thanks! I'm also LOVING the JU integation! An issue to be concerned about: Firefox does not display some of the sections correctly. If you want more information, i'd be glad to post a screenshot of what I'm seeing.
I'm heading in that same path, my friend, except I'll be most definitely attending a 4 year university for either Computer Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering (A nice twist of both). Whatever the case, I feel I'm gonna have some fun and learn a LOT. Keep me posted on how you're doing, as I'll keep the same. <img s
Ahh...maybe I should read sometime
If you go over to your Stats, there's the Site Referrals stat aboot halfway down. Click "More" there, and that brings ya to the list. Hopefully this little feature won't lead to people spamming their links, either.
Crissy...it's going to be called Wincustomize 2k5 for a reason. Patience. As for new site themes, I hope Mormegil, Pixtudio, or even SkinPlant will whip up a few. Making new ones for the current site isn't wise because it will only be use for a few more months.
I'm hoping you mean a LogOn, not a "LongOn" *insert joke here* Anywho, try out LogonStudio at: https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/ That'll do the trick. As for a "LongOn", well...WC may not be best place for one.
KG, I started school a year early too, and I certainly don't regret the decision that my parents made. Yes, I had to wait a bit to get my driving permit, but other than that, it's only benefited me. I wish you a big good luck, and I hope she keeps those awesome grades up. :)

You don't even need a serial number to play the retail version...maybe if you calmed down a bit, maybe rebooted, and took a screeny or two, that would help us to help you.
