Now, let’s start with the idea that God created everything. So, God made Adam and Eve and set them down in Paradise. Now, the two fell out of favor when the disobeyed God and were tempted by the serpent, the devil. Now, the Devil was a fallen angel who tried a coup and was summarily brought down, way down. I have two problems with this. 1

From the shows I've heard it seems that they think that the next place is paradise and want to go there, and since suicide is verboten, the only other step, is the Rapture. I 'm sure they like it here, it's just that they like there more. IG

No, not anything that literal from Revelations, but i do believe that there may be an ending of the world; maybe not a bang but a whimper, that God could initiate, one big "Anti-genesis, or perhaps we cold do it ourselves. A Pandora's box scenario. We could create something with unforseen consequences. I know too Twilight Zone. My main thought was that they wanted it now, and I really don't want to leave. IG

Negotiating with myself is great. I always win! Because I always agree with myself. I would never do it in public becuase that would look strange. And people are already mad at me. See, at the last card came, I didn't want to play the hand that was delt me, I wanted to play someone else's. For the love of Pete, the man has to either take more of a puase to

I was listening in church last Sunday and the priest mentioned the second coming, and I started thinking, why is the second coming a good thing? I mean yes, we will all see heaven and God and be eternally happy. But what is “happy”. Being happy means different things to different people. For LW, happiness is a riding crop and vampire gloves, for Brad – Michael Moore w

I think you might be off on the ACLU this time. I beleive it comes down to sponsorship. If the school district is asking students to pass out candy canes or pencils, then yes, the ACLU would support the separation principle. If it is a student, or small group of students, then it could fall under Freedom of Expression and the First Amendment, which the ACLU would support, as long as the students were not taking away from class time or causing a disrput

So, I took my two of my three girls (5, 7) ice skating at the rink last Saturday because the 7 year old wanted to. Now, I skated in my teen years and I could do alright. I could get up speed, turn and stop. I was told you never forget how, it was like riding a bike. Lying, freakin’ bastards. So, while I was inching my way across the ice, my eldest

Perhaps only to collapse upon itself and begin again? No, what I mean is: If you drop dough onto a table, it will slowly spread out, pushing back the air that was already there. It is expanding into the air that surrounds it. If the universe is expanding, albeit in three dimensions, what is it expanding

Ok, let's say for the sake of argument, that a diety or dieties is/are at the center of the onion. Question: Do you believe that we as corporeal beings, with the advancement of science, can find the center, or will we need to shuffle off the mortal coil, to slip "the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God"? It means the farther Science pushes back the boundaries of knowledge, there is always that thing that requires a belief. For in the end, I dont think Science can explain it all. just get to the root of the begining. True, science just expands our knowledge of where that beginning is. In the past 100

So those who will believe have nothing to fear, and those that dont, only have faith to fear I am not sure what you mean. Believe in what? And fear what? Faith should never be feared, only some of the faithful. IG

Well, there is some, but it is nothing conclusive. They are still in the formative stages, trying to decipher what they have, but yes, it does require a certain amount of faith in science to keep looking. IG

Why do women want arms and men want crotches I was assuming that the question was about why men would prefer a real lap to a real arm. I do not understand the pillow part. If it were me, I would choose another part of the female anatomy. IG
