get convicted once for rape or child molesting, go to jail, forever. Oh, come on. Even the conservatives won't go for that. I mean is there anyone who thinks the police departments or the court systems are infallible? Or equal? Even if an innocent man gets convicted, he at least has

I don't mind a teenager disagreeing with my political views, but give me a reason why you disagree and let's discuss it. You want a logical argument from a teenager? "To dream, the impossible dream" My girls aren't there yet, but I remeber being a teenager. Yes my daugher back when thee w

I am curious to know EXACTLY what it was you wanted to hear? Mr. President, your Secretary of Defense has stated that the insurgency could last 8 to 12 years. You stated that our forces will stay until the Iraqi national force could stand on its own. How much of the insurgency would the Iraqi force have to be able to handle before we stand down? Mr. President, in the statements from the White House previous to the Iraq war.

I read an article from Slate on this in Feb. and thought, no way the family would lose. I mean we're not talking a bridge, bypass, etc. It's a shopping mall, or some such. I can just imagine how a guy who owns a few acres near prime commercial land must feel. IG

All those frineds and family who want to help you get through this, by letting them help you, you are doing them a big favor. Let me explain. lets say person A needs you too get her to the airport at 0 dark early inthe morning. You do it, not a big thing to you, but a huge thing to them. They want to repay you. Your surgery provides this chance. Family and friends want to help, to repay a kindness, but have no way of paying it back.

Reply By: Dr. GuyPosted: Thursday, June 16, 2005Do you really think Davis would have just packed up and gone home after defeating and securing the North? Understood. But if the charge had worked and Davis had control of the North, you really think he would have told his soldiers to go home? And have ef

If they had suceeded, the war would have been over and these US states would have been 2 not one. Lee never looked to conquer the north, only to bring the war to them so that they would sue for peace. Do you really think Davis would have just packed up and gone home after defeating and securing the Nor

learn the difference. It will help OK, take it easy, no need to get insulting. I was just saying that the right and the Administration has also been intolerant of those it does not agree with. Perhaps with not as much venom but with the same intensity. IG

And in no case did they try a regime change. Well, some people in Pennsylvania might disagree with you, but I wonder what would have happened to the Union if Pickett's charge had succeeded and Lee crossed into Washington. IG

So why is the left leadership so intollerant of those they do not agree with? Some of the leadership true, but have you heard Chenney at times, especially about opponents to Bush's programs? Thats why I was sorry to see Powell go. Rice seems too much of a "yes"-person. Also, the left

the Confederacy (1861-65) Actually the argument could be made that the Confederacy started out as a regime lessening than a change. Althought it eventually tried a regime change. IG

I don't believe you have to agree with those views that are "diverse" or radicaaly different than yours. I think what it comes down to is your reaction to those views. Look at the relationship between general Catholics and Jews. There is a tolerance and understanding between the two, even though there is a fundamental difference. Then think back to the Inquisition. It is the reaction to the different view that is important.

Bigotry is a bias against a person based on prejudiced stereoptypes, right? And prejudice is forming an opinion based on preconceived notions, right? The same could be said of the right. IG

In most schools science fair projects typically must be approved by a teacher so that raises the question in my mind as to why the teacher approved the project in the first place. Maybe it was how they described the project. Possibly a litte careful editing on thier part, or they did not tell her they w

what do we do with these killers and terrorists? That's my problem right there. We don't know they are terrorists. They were picked up in Afgan ir Iraq and sent here. The governemt says they have evidence they are terrorists, but no one has seen it. I say put them before a court, give them representation, present what you have on them and then let someone impartial decide if they are a threat. Now, I am not saying give them full legal
