Dear Jepel, We all have the right to critize; however, those who followed the US President into the Iraqi war, the governments, I mean, have no right to critize Bush. It was a choice made by the governments supported by the country's people. It appears most of these folks responding to your article are critique-ing each other's opinions on your article. I don't get all this angry attitude toward each other. Free thinking and speech is a right of free people; being impolite is just s

Frightening, isn't he?...Dean, I mean.
Hi, Jepel! Happy New Year and hope you will enjoy your new "digs!" Good Luck!
A Reese Cup? Hmmm? I suppose it's the intent that counts.
So happy you understand that country people are friendlier than city folk! It's true! Here's something to remember. While you have been accepted in this crowd, you are a "come-there," not a "from-there." As such, you must learn and abide by the cultural mores of that area to be accepted. Take nothing about these folks for granted as they will be your strongest support ever if you live within the "code of the land!" God bless you for writing about
I've had similar experiences. While I have not been a great believer in Spirits, recently I've been convinced there are entities around us. Some people aren't sensitive to the spirits, but when they all but beat you over the head to make their presence known, one has to believe. In one of my homes which is rather old, I am very sure there is friendly entity. A contractor was there working and thought he saw someone pass through the living room. He called out but no one answered. It happene
Poor Darling! I reckon it's best to pack a lunch or snack you know won't give you the "green apple trots!" God bless your heart!
Hi, Guy! Ihave the same situation and the same forecast here in Virginia. It's tough when one needs to be earning a living and the weather won't cooperate! I'm self-employed and it can be tough, to say the least. But, it's winter, for sure! Try to enjoy your day off and think of the wages you'll earn when you get out of the snowbank.
Christmas Eve in Pulaski, Virginia I’ve been here in Dublin, Virginia, since Monday (12/22/03). My friends there worry I will be sad or grieve for love lost, but hell, it was lost five years ago…I just didn’t know it. As for sadness, it’s not here at all. The sadness I’ve experienced was during the time he and I were together. Now it’s gone replaced with the peace of knowing I’m fine, really content with the unknown tomorrows I meet every day of my life. I awake to a new morning, f
Try taking Lysine for that sore on you lip...I have them, too, when I'm sick. Lysine also prevents me from getting them. Hope you feel better real soon.
Your article is interesting and your compassion great; however, here are 2 books you should take a look at: The Deamon in the Freezer by Richard Preston and The Threatening Storm by Kenneth Pollack. WMDs do exist, have existed and are our most dangeroust threat to survival. I don't recall Saddam ever being fully contained...his misdeeds speak loudly and clearly to that issue. Yes, I agree, war is terrible, but it's better to hunt down the rats that perpetrate murder in our country than to all
Hear! Hear!
Oh, yeah, I've met the drunk entity before, too! Ha! Ha!
Oh, thank you kind sir! You are indeed sweet.
You are so brave to make your situation known in a blog. Remember, eat to live...not live to eat. It's about health, not body image. There are a lot of good books and programs using a pyramid with oils & fats at the top, the least to eat, down to veggies & fruits at the bottom of the pyramid of which you may eat almost as much as you want. Be careful with the carbs...they really pack on the pounds. Pasta should be put back for that once a month treat like the red meat you talk about. Good L
The purpose of writing is to expand your horizons, your ability to think regarding any number of topics and who knows, you may come up with some wonderfully new insight some of us haven't even thought of yet! Your deserve credit for accomplishing this feat...now ponder on your research and what did you learn and what is your opinion on that material! That's the purpose!
Bah! Humbug! to you, too! I like your comments on Christmas gifts and shopping...it's crazy people buy into the myth that Christmas gifts are necessary...I can see gifts with lots of thought without regard to price, meaning NOT expensive. Some of the best gifts I've received were not pricey, but oh so thoughtful. However, compulsory shopping is a pain in the butt! Regarding your book & attaching your name...be bold! Use your name and be proud of your work.
I like your saying about beautiful roses...It's true!
I respectfully say to you, YOU ARE WRONG! Today, Dec. 14th, proves Bush is true to his word to capture the guy who made life a living hell for the Iraqi people...have you spoken to an Iraqi recently or ever? It's not about Israel, it's far more than that. Stop whinning and blowing smoke about the president. And if you must know, oil is a very important global commodity for all nations. We do well to preserve that for future use and for the finanical BENEFIT of a liberated Iraq. Wake up!
I feel you are absolutely right....Hoo-ah! from me, too! Ain't life sweet?
Yeah, the democrats have already started bashing Bush on the capture of Saddam. Kerry this morning rants about the US going to war alone w/o the benefit of UN backing...they gave our Bush a hard time, so why would he ask the UN to back us in war? Who needs 'em? Are we alone in this war? I think not! Where the hell does Kerry get off? Bush-bashing continues since the presidency is, in the democrats' minds, "up for grabs!"
Aren't kids great?! They keep us honest. And...nice comment about Xmas commercialism. I'ts nuts this time of year. Get the kid something with which she can use her brain, like books, puzzles anything that will help her become a more thinking and creative person. Good observation on the toys of today!
Good Luck! It looks like moving to a new place can't happen soon enough. Take care of that stomach.
I am not at all surprised at this story. Our legal system is so very flawed. On a much smaller scale, I too have been the victim of "blind justice" and have not in the last 8 months been able to persuade the courts to REALLY look at my proof of not being guilty of false charges. The judges won't even consider the body of evidence I have, nor will the courts entertain the testimonies of the eye witnesses to the events I bring as proof of my innocence. It's so very frustrating! The guilty pers
