He already has the files from that source,as did I. The trouble is,it would not install Flash 9,any version #. It always wanted to install the latest version(10) for IE7. I had no problem rolling FF3 back to 9 however.
Wiz, correct me if I misunderstand. If I install FF and set it as my primary browser, when I install flash 9 it will use that when I'm using FF but not IE7. resetting IE7 to primary I then download flash10. will that impact the status of flash9. t
Guess I should have read a little closer. Have you tried installing while off line, so it can't check for a newer version?
it's not that it's that it has no where to install it where IE7 can find it.
thanks Wiz, I downloaded the file and attempted to install but the installer told me that it couldn't find my plug-in directory? looked at the directoriess for ie and windows and didn't see anything entitled "plugins", or anything similiar. I guess the simple answer would be create the directory, should work right? as a skinner I need this for uploading, not sure but I don't think one can have two versions of flash, it's either or. IE7, vista 64bit

Click on lookup serial, make sure your correct email address is filled in and click submit. thank you.
hello, anybody there?
The most recent Flash 9 build should be fine, it's just 10 that is the problem.
would you know which was the lastest 9.X version, I think I know but checking helps.
Latest is Flash 10 right? but im guessing you want 9 because of upload problems here?
yep, that's what it is all about.
I've downloaded the flash9 zipfile that contains all of the versions. I assume that I want to install one of the win.exe versions but which version is the best or latest version? and this is what I want to do, yes?
changing computers and wanting to ensure that my registrations are still current I came up against an page loading error. not being able to determine if this is a site issue or a greg issue, I thought it best to check in and ask, "is there something I need to do to ensure that my WC programs and program registrations are current in my new computer?" vista64bit charging for windowblinds now I see. I guess that SKS6 isn't really free either since windowblinds is required for it. a
that is very wierd, I can't really wrap my head around this. the merged file size is what it is, how vista can tell what the size of a particular layer is within a merged file boggles my mind. I guess the graphic has an alpha channel which is where this occurred? I'm working on a blind that has an oval in the top panel that extends over the edge. XP portions first then finish up in vista 64bit. hope I remember this. Thanks Xiandi, and OBTW, nice blind.[e digicons][/e]
Xiandi, I am in the process of changing over from XP to vista 64bit and have a wip blind that I hope to finish for xp and then migrate over to my vista system to finish off. I understand what you are saying but unsure of how our terminology fits. My use of "base layer" is two fold, one is the outlines and the other is solid black. and even if I have a completely transparent layer it would convert to white when saved as a png. please take a minute and provide a more detailed discriptio
ah yes, and I just realized that opening a post does not que it up in my replies. but then again, can the clutter be cleared if one chooses to do so?
when I look at a post it now inevitably shows up under my replies even though I did not reply, is there a way to delete or reset these posts. I have attempted to "delete cookies created by the forum" but it didn't seem to do anything/

interesting, thnaks for the info. two points. 1. I like ie7 as the security options seem to be the most user friendly. I especially like the ability to control add-ons and cookie delivery. 2. somewhat ironic that while Maxthon skinning ability is supported by WC, the browser itself is not??? actually three points; I use a browser that can meet my daily needs, as WC is a site that I visit almost daily, the browsers that fit with my surfing routine is limited to ie7 and
congratulations all!!!
humph, looks like a change is in order, thanks
can the red and blue text colors, seen on the buttons here, be changed???
If you check each program page you will see 'System Requirements' which details under what is required to run the software.
I'm probably just shooting myself in the foot here, but... does this include configurations that are needed and/or not supported to access the website to it's full potential. (i.e. no ie6, no flash10, no safari, etc.) I've looked for the fine print before regarding what's required to properly access WC and the forums. maybe it's there somew
Oh, thank you so much for making that so much more clearer. and here I believed that it was me all along and now I understand that it's not. I'm so relieved. but... why doesn't it work now that it's not my fault???
my, my, welcome to the WC forums, slam bam, boom. voidcore loved the post, we had quite a good chuckle over that. I don't think that WC lies about their products however I do think their expectations sometime exceeds reality. There is a certain "my way, or the highway" mentality that irks me occasionally but all in all the majority of problems that I encounter can be fixed by me by changing some settings here or there. We're not going to made privy to the inner workings o
I did an experiment and enabled flash for my ie7 browser to update a blind that had somehow lost it's preview. it does appear to have worked.
